I would give 0 stars if possible. Asked for a $60 arrangement and if it was possible to do a same day delivery in cottage grove. They weren't prepared to do anything on their website so we asked for a Pink and purple arrangement and if they could put some roses in. The arrangement was delivered in the specified time, however it had no roses, and did not even match. It looked like they took whatever they had in back and just put it together. Definitely not a $50-60 arrangement being it was mostly carnations, Daisy's, spray mum. It had a lily and some delphinium but again the shades of purple and pinks didn't even match and looked awful. The guy we talked to on the phone when we ordered was somewhat rude to begin with so I should've known it was going to be an issue. When we called back to complain he was extremely rude, argumentative and denied that we asked for roses in it saying he didn't have them. Ended up giving us 30% off the price of the flowers. I came across Cottage Grove Florist and saw they had designer choice with different tiers but no pictures. I called to ask what the Premier size would look like, she explained it would be 3 feet tall with the vase and very full. What I received was anything but 3 feet tall and very full, the lily's they chose were dead and for what I bought I could've got more than double for half the price from any of the larger flower websites or even the local Hyvee/Cub Foods. After sending a pic they responded with the bouquet was to value. After calling about this issue I got a call back from Bill who said he was only willing to give a 25% refund and not even willing to send out a replacement order of flowers or another bouquet to bring the flowers received to the fullness that was explained to me.    Read moreDisappointed with delivery on an order for a 90th birthday. They attempted delivery around 10 am, left a note on the door, and then did not call until 5 pm. They were home the entire time. They also had my phone number, the one that placed the order and I was never contacted. I spoke with the owner and he indicated this was normal policy, and also never apologized. These flowers were for a very special lady's 90th birthday and she did not get them on her day! The note was placed on a door that is not used everyday, why would they check it? How about calling before you leave the home to check if anyone is home? How about checking with the one who placed the order letting them know there was a problem? How about apologizing for the mishap? Perhaps your "policy" needs some revisions! Knowing your policy and lack of customer service, we will go elsewhere...
