I am not used to being welcomed into a craft store, yet alone an LYS. However, from the moment I entered the front door to the moment I left, the owners/workers were appropriately attentive, welcoming, and very supportive. I am a beginner knitter and an advanced crochet craftsman. The folks there answered any question I had, were interested in the project I am endeavoring to make, and very knowledgeable in both small fiber companies, and local dyers. If it wasn’t for them, I probably wouldn’t have noticed and purchased a lovely shade of fuscia yarn from a local dyer whose yarn I cannot wait to craft more with. Read moreCame in today with my mom and one of her coworkers who wants to learn to crochet. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Hank of yarn I chose was a being a little troublesome to wind, but the employee was a complete trooper and got through it! We hung out for a while and crocheted. The shop has a welcoming environment, the staff are enjoyable to talk to, and the yarn is both beautiful and of amazing quality.
