The Hannaford at Pike & Madison — Restaurant in Covington

Cool place to enjoy a drink with a date or a few friends. I visited to have a nice bourbon cocktail while working on my laptop. I was pleased to find strong Wi-Fi connection and a bar with outlets at almost every seat.

Many whiskies and liquors to choose from for a small place. The beer list is short but thoughtful and appears to change frequently.

Some watch outs: The music they played was a bit too boppy than it should have been given the surroundings (for my taste), but at least it wasn’t too loud (Northern Kentucky preference?). Also, the cocktail list leaned a bit too sweet (even allowing...

Update: Had a very fun late night here after dinner. The bartender handled serving the above average size crowd well. Also, they have N-A beers.

A very good bar in Covington, especially for happy hour. They make great cocktails and have a huge bourbon & rye selection.

Best happy hour anywhere in the Cincinnati/ NKY area! Also happy hour is on most drinks, not just well. Service is always friendly and knowledgeable, good pours. Atmosphere is cozy and dive barish, but very comfortable and In a great area of Covington. They do not have food, however one can bring in food from places nearby or your own.
