E-Z Cash Pawn II — Local services in Covington

Unironically without exaggeration, the worst pawn shop I have gone to. I've gone to a pawn shop run out of a shack in rural Alabama that was far better. Here I was offered a fiver for binos going $40-50 lowest anywhere else (specifically the pawn shops across the street). They disregard prices/apparently forget what money is at whim; selling-wise, one particular CD I had, had half of its original price tag still on, & so despite - you know, reality - wouldn't budge from that price from 2000 or near; got offered $1 for something I'd expected to be around $10; -$20 from ebay prices. Then there's a nice black guy in there trying to buy a middling-tier acoustic guitar, he's tuning it and revved to buy it. They quote him somewhere in the 100s, he barely even haggles, yet then when he goes to pay they on-the-spot double it. The dude had the cash he was quoted in-hand for gods sake. Even more, I ask if they buy bikes, or if they will in the future, and get told no... Right behind me is 3 or 4 bikes. And in their frankly astonishing efforts to be the worst pawn shop in existence, the woman at the desk was comically patronizing to everyone she spoke to.

There's 2 other pawn shops in walking distance that're not part of this chain. I walked down the street and immediately struck up pleasant conversation with the cashier/appraiser, and he at least offered typical pawn shop prices. Do not go there. I have a sterling silver jewelry case it's just a little heart and if you look it very clearly says it's a little faded but it's still clearly says 925. The Asian lady that owns the place tested it and came back as sterling silver and when she tested it she tested a huge chunk completely disfigured my case confirmed it was silver and then would still not take it. She completely ruined it to the point I'm definitely going to sell it for scrap now because she completely ruined the looks of it. My brother Mark has pawned many items at this specific location. I needed some cash and quick. My dear brother had said "Sister take your jewelry to the pawn I deal with." I had done just that. I wasn't expecting as much as I had gotten offered for my white gold 1ct diamond ring and my gold nugget bracelet.
