Read the Yelp reviews about the Walgreens pharmacy in Cranford, NJ. I have zero trust in this pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is sarcastic and insulting, from the technicians all the way to the pharmacist in charge. They have a habit of sarcastically laughing you out of there and making you feel like a criminal for asking a question. Eric is absolutely the worst and most ignorant person I've spoken to there, he even had the audacity to refuse to let me speak to the pharmacist several times. They still let him answer the phones and speak to patients in the most condescending of ways possible. Fast forward to yesterday, instead of answering questions I had regarding why I was being denied my medication... I was laughed out of the pharmacy by the pharmacy technician and the pharmacist. It seems that the only qualifications these folks have are to tell patients that they can go off themselves. That and being laughed out of the pharmacy is absolutely debilitating as a patient that has been loyal to the Walgreens pharmacy in Cranford for over a decade. Treat people with respect and understanding instead of treating patients like criminals. I have had nothing but humiliating experiences there for the last several years. I have had medication filled to 1/9th of the actual fill volume back to back months. It's not only that they abuse the power that they have, it's also that the staff blatantly steals medication. To think that medications like alprazolam are being stolen by the STAFF and still nothing is being done about it? It is icredible that this pharmacy is still operating. I am also in the field of healthcare and am an affiliate of Cencora (Walgreens pharmacy wholesale drug distributor) and the DEA. Walgreens corporate- please take care of these matters properly because all that I have experienced as a patient is unacceptable to the...
Read moreWhat a miserable manager. I was waking around the store grabbing a few things and I seen this employee waking my way so I smile and say hi and get nothing. Ok. Guess youâre having a bad day.
I get to the register and the lady was very nice, even attempted to help me find an item. It was out of stock so she made a suggestion I hadnât thought of. Cool.
I attempt to pay with the Walgreens app. That freezes her register for some reason. She calls the manager over for assistance. And he says that sheâll need to re-ring me up again. I told her no big deal. Totally understand how buggy these things can be.
She starts ringing me up again (as a small line starts to form behind me) and the manager is watching the transaction and asks me not to use Apple Pay. Which I wasnât⌠I was using their app. I said ok. He sees me giving them the phone and condescendingly says âI guess you donât understand. No Apple Pay.â I said I wasnât using Apple Pay. Iâm using your app. He says âYouâre going to freeze my registers, what donât you understand? Donât you have another credit card that workâ Iâm like dude itâs not even worth it. It was some junk that I can get at Dollar General up the street. My cards werenât the problem. Fix your system.
It wouldâve been one thing if he had been a reasonable and nice dude. But the condescension from a Walgreens employee in front of all his other customer was absurd. Yea Iâll skip coming back here even though I am right...
Read moreI want to take time to personally thank Lauren who was working in the pharmacy on Dec. 24th. My mother was travelling from out of state, is a heart patient and left all her medicine home. I was able to get the names of the 9 medications and called Walgreen's Pharmacy and Lauren was the person who answered the phone. In an already busy and hectic day, she wrote down the names of all 9 medicines and then had to call to get my mother's doctor/prescription place to release the hold so she could fill all the meds that she was able to get through. She called me back and really hustled to ensure that my mother could get the meds she had to have on Dec 26th. Without Lauren's commitment to getting these filled my mother would not of had her medicine that she must take in time. We are so appreciative of Lauren and all those at the pharmacy who made this happen....
