Hot Box Cookies — Local services in Creve Coeur

I hate to write this and it’s very unfortunate, but we came to this location around noon on 7/20/24 and chose to leave immediate because of the rude staff. We walked in, one of our first times coming to hot box and wanted to look at the different cookie options. The staff member, a young lady seemed to rush us along, she rolled her eyes, was impatient and kept asking how many cookies we wanted. I asked if she could give us a minute. She rolled her eyes at me. Just a whole attitude for no reason. She came from the back of the store with AirPods in her ear and an attitude as if we were interrupting her. I was turned off by her behavior and we walked out. I did let her know “never mind, we chose not to get anything because of her attitude”. She shrugged her shoulders as if she didn’t care and rolled her eyes. There’s no way I’m spending money here and you are extremely rude. I get having a bad day but geez. This is more than just baking cookies, several other reviews comment on bad staff. Business can suffer real quick because of bad service. Hire someone else who knows they have a...

Today July 25th around 1, my wife and I visited Hotbox Cookies for the first time and we were stunned at the ambiance of the establishment. We were in the store for 30 minutes, had an amazing conversation and great service from a young lady working today. The shift manager (she) gave us a background card about Hotbox which was very interesting and informative to read. She also let us try the cookies before spending money on them not knowing if we were going to be satisfied or not especially with it being our first time. My wife loves the gooey butter cookies. We sat and ate a couple but left earlier than intended, only due to the cookie shop only having one table and others wanted to take a seat. I would only say the store needs more seating areas. Our overall experience was outstanding, especially the customer service WE WILL BE BACK SOON!….. PS MY WIFE AND I JUST FOUND OUR NEW...

Only reason they received 5 starts is because of Adreaina. I been coming to this location for so long I’m starting to think Adreaina the only one who works there. My family and I adore her! The last couple time I came in and the temperature in the store has gotten worst every time! However today is it a 100 degree outside and you step in store and it feeling the exact same and if you stand long enough it will feel as if it’s getting worst. Stepping out the store feels better. I don’t know how she does it, or how anyone can work in such a hot condition, the ovens on all day too… I just can’t fathom it being me. I didn’t come to bash hotbox, Adreaina always makes my day when I come in always has everything and more me and my family needs, I want her and the other works to be save it’s to hot to be in more heat that’s all.
