Stopped by for the soft opening, service was super friendly and great. Manager and staff member working answered any questions I had and double checked my order. I’ve been to other franchise locations and can say they uphold the Feng cha standard I have had elsewhere. I got the regular dirty boba with 75% sweetness and light ice. Often times places don’t really care about your customization but I could definitely tell they made it to order as I requested. I’ve tried most of the other bubble tea places in stl and I just love the taste of Feng cha whatever they use definitely has a slightly different taste (in an good way) and the boba consistency was perfect. I love this place, the vibe, the drinks. However for the first time today I visited when the owner was there. Before I had even ordered, the owner was huffing and puffing from which he believes, the staff member was making a drink wrong. The owner continued to shake his head and walked away. Many orders came in at once while only one staff member was making. The owner continued to ridicule the staff member that he wasn't going fast enough and was making the drinks wrong when he wasn't, there was a miscommunication amongst a customer on which drink was to be made. Very upsetting seeing a staff member being treated like that when he was just trying his best. Hope that young man finds a company...
