ordered from here with DD. got potstickers and hot BRAISED pork. potstickers were good, but I've never had bad potstickers anywhere. the Hot Braised Pork however was not. I expected tender pork that had been simmered in sauce, as that what braising is. However this dish was deep fried in a thick dense batter. The pieces of pork were so small the batter overwhelmed them. The batter also seemed to absorb almost all of the sauce (didn't look like much) so i couldn't taste it over the oil taste. I rechecked the menu to see if I had missed where it described it as fried. its not on there. if the menu said fried I would have gotten something else. The dish was not at all what I thought i was getting, and even if I knew it was fried, just wasn't that good. if you order from here stick to the things you know are supposed...
Read moreSo my mom wanted Chinese food since she said she has t had it in a while. She gave me the phone number to call. Called Order in and it arrived rather quick. All items were there. But this is where it goes down hill. I ordered the General's Chicken. I always thought it was a spicy dish. It's not here. It's more of a fried dough with an orange colored sauce. It's kind of missing the chicken in many of the doughy pieces. The pork fried rice was really dark looking and rather flavorless. The pot stickers were good.
I will never order from this place. My mom hasn't ordered in over a year. So maybe one time it was a good place. But now I wouldn't recommend. I did suggest going out to Happy China but she didn't want to leave the house. I think next time I will...
Read moreThis place is absolutely not as bad as some of the reviews say. Yes, the fried rice looks seasoned and tastes like nothing but luckily all the dishes have plenty of sauce the rice can share, making it fine. The fried scallops are tender and crunchy. I got a shrimp, chicken and beef dish and they were all as to be expected. The mushrooms and broccoli were the most delicious vegetables, I never care for cooked celery or peppers though. The wonton soup is the tastiest by far of the three. Overall I would order again here when looking for cheap Chinese take out. Maybe upgrade to the special fried rice and try the authentic chinese dishes if you actually want spicy. The staff were very kind and polite. It made up for the poor atmosphere. Great place if you’re...
