This has tremendous potential if done right but unfortunately a large room where only a handful of the same people get to share is likely not the most effective. I would strongly suggest smaller groups where everybody gets to participate. I know there were a lot of people left feeling incomplete. There was a man who was yearning to share. You could tell he had a heart full of things he wanted to just get off his chest. Sadly, when he jumped on the mic and started to ramble the instructor had him sit back down and stopped him from sharing even though he had been trying to share for so long and was clearly asking for help. I am left feeling a little uneasy about the mental status of a lot of people in that room. The content is good, it definitely stirs a lot of emotions that any human being has accumulated throughout their lifetime. It helps point to the life events that have molded you to become the person you are. They suggest that you close those circles by reaching out to the people involved in those events. All that is great. Sadly, it's the delivery that leaves me feeling like it could be so much better. There is never a true opportunity to work through the emotions brought up by the content of the seminar. You can briefly come up to the Mic if you are chosen but in a room of 150 plus people that is not practical. Even the people that came up were left with unresolved issues. Throughout the whole thing they will keep saying “Your Landmark is coming”. I’m sure some people will have some much needed breakthroughs, especially if they have always seen the world through a negative lens. That said, a big part of the attendees will be left feeling confused. A lot of people I spoke with throughout the seminar had the same feeling. We couldn’t decide if this was a personal development seminar or a recruitment scheme. Throughout the whole thing they keep asking you to think of people in your life that could benefit from this experience and to make sure that you invite them for your “graduation” in order for them to sign up at the promo rate. I noticed the reviews say something about brainwashing. I can see what they mean. A big part of the seminar is a discussion on “rackets”. This ensures that anytime a participant tries to question their experience they remember that it’s them being negative. That it’s their “racket”. I am left feeling a bit uneasy about the experience, especially for some of my fellow participants. There was a lady who kept crying and crying and kept raising her hand and she never had the opportunity to discuss what was causing her that reaction. Again, it has tremendous potential but it also has tremendous flaws in its delivery. There were many people who clearly did not get the closure they were looking for. The majority of the three days will be you getting lectured and in between you might have about 2 minutes to briefly discuss with the person you are sitting next to. Truly, it would be much better to do some lecturing and then break into small groups to discuss. The assistants in the back are good. Honestly, much better than the lecturer. Sadly, you can tell the lecturer has been doing this for a long time and has moments where she comes off as jaded. During a participant’s sharing, the host demoralized the participant by stating “Dad problems are a dime a dozen”. Woaw. All in all, I am a bit concerned but mostly indifferent. I did get some value and for that reason I wouldn’t deter anyone from trying it out for themselves. Some people really did have some great breakthroughs but a vast majority of the participants were left feeling confused and unable to question anything because that would mean that your “meaning making machine” is creating a negative meaning to...

Here are a few of my observations after spending 13 hrs on day 1. I did not go back for seconds! The main forum leader was really inappropriate in making light of the fellow instructors English skills. NEVER make fun of or call out a colleague in a packed room, so unprofessional. Its a cash cow. 150 people x $695 = $104,250. Thats quite a profit for the weekend. I had to chuckle when they said you can get coffee and snacks outside the room....from a vending machine and charge. Come on guys spend a few hundred dollars on snacks at Costco! For some this forum may work if you have some issues with work, family, life, etc. Personally I can't relate to anything I heard in the entire day. For me it just did not work and as the day went into the evening things became less and less relatable. The final straw for me was at the end of the evening when the leader had everybody close their eyes and think of something that bothered them (backache, necklace, tiredness, etc) By thinking about it and doing the mental exercise it was to go away....yes really! What a joke I could go on and on about some of the things a heard and how uncomfortable I was when they were digging deep into personal issue such as abuse, molestation, etc that people were sharing in an open Forum and the leader who has no formal training is coaching them and in 15 minutes all is ok. I am down right worried for some people. The Forum leader Jerry really should be on Broadway (he was in a former life) I think he lives to be on stage and this is definitely his stage in his life these days. Funny at times but also very condescending and loves to put people down. He kept repeating how "stupid" you would be if you don't come back...I am sorry its not a one size fits all for some such as myself its just not a fit and no hard feelings. Lets not keep calling people stupid. They love to knock you down All I kept hearing is you will only get 5% the first day...yes because its a trick. After 13 hrs 5%?! They want you to keep going in circles so that way on Sunday evening you will get it all and then its too late for anything since its already over. Such a great business move I spoke this morning to one of the leaders and just simply said it was not for me and they of course want to turn it back on you. All word games. I asked for a refund on 2/3 (willing to pay for the day I did) and of course she then starts with that I signed the paperwork at registration that there are no refunds, etc. Now they want to hide behind that and keep my money. Notice how they take all the money up front that should...

Took a course and learned more about BARRY TERRY than any further insight into myself. His marriage and how it survived his affair, his daughter, Ashley's long golden blond hair, how his son has the word INTEGRITY tatoo'd on his forearm, his many talks with his offspring about how tomorrow never comes, good grief, pay ME!!!!!! I felt like offering this guy a glass of water or a shot of Patron after each ramble!!!! He told me that I could speak at "graduation" yet, "we have run out of time, Linda!!" and a good time was NOT had by all.............consider cutting me a check for $500 + and, as a former social worker from NYC................I will help him to regroup and cease to think that telling his life story is, in turn, going to help the ~165 others in the room who had genuine, deep rooted issues to address. At least one woman came in with bleached blonde hair the next day like THAT SHOULD HEAL EVERYTHING!!!!! Way to go, BT!!! How are the wife and kids??? I feel like I know...
