I had never bought jewelry before, so when it came time to propose, I had no idea where to even start. I wanted the ring to be perfect — something my (now fiancée) would love and be proud to wear every day. After doing some research, I came across Ace of Diamonds, and I’m honestly so glad I found them.

We worked with Rod throughout the entire process, and I can’t say enough good things about him. My fiancée and I met with him a few times to design the ring together, and he was incredibly patient, kind, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. He really listened to what we were looking for and made sure we felt good about every detail.

Once we finalized the design, Rod had a 3D rendering made so we could see exactly how it would look before he had it made — which was super helpful. After that, the turnaround time was surprisingly quick — just a few weeks later, it was done. The ring turned out absolutely beautiful, and my fiancée loves it.

But what really made the experience special was working with Rod. He made what could’ve been a stressful and overwhelming process feel fun and exciting. We honestly feel like we gained a friend through this whole experience. Rod is now my go to guy for all things jewelry. I had a great experience here. I had to come in at a specific time for an appraisal and Rod was more than willing to come in early to accommodate. Not only that but he was very friendly and was willing to talk me through the appraisal process whenever I had questions. He was very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that someone who isn’t in the business would understand. The appraisals are done as you’re watching also. I’m generally a bit sceptical about things I’m not very knowledgeable about (I went in for an appraisal of an online jewelry purchase) and since this was my first real jewelry purchase I was definitely a little lacking in knowledge.
