This is an experience and you’ll be unpleasantly surprised by the double price scenario… they give you each portion of the meal in different prices even though you really can’t have a crust without the meat/cheese center. But overall the experience is too fun to worry about price. I think the only other thing I’d complain about is that the dough crust is not actually a “corn bread” like most corn dogs. It’s a misnomer, and if you’ve ever had chimney cakes, that’s basically what this dough is. It really tastes like that when you get the sugared kind. I only asked for a light sprinkle but my curiosity is making me want to go back to see just how much the typical Korean likes to glaze their dogs. Finally I’ll mention I liked the chicken better than the potato crust and the starches of that experience does not pair well with boba. Lesson learned.

OMG! Culver City finally has a Korean corn dog spot! After waiting for half a year, they’re finally open. I tried their Boombox Plus, which comes with five different flavors of corn dogs and a bunch of sauces. My favorite was the Korean chili sauce paired with the fried chicken corn dog—it tastes just like what I had in Korea. The Hot Cheetos corn dog comes with a sweet chili sauce, which is really unique and sets it apart from other Korean corn dog places. Their service is also top-notch. When they hand you the box, they give you a rundown of the different corn dogs and sauces inside. I also ordered their pineapple lemonade. It’s made with real fruit chunks, and the flavor is incredibly refreshing. It pairs perfectly with the corn dogs.

Finally tried this Korean Corn Dog place in the Westfield Mall. There are quite a few options to customize your corn dog to include fillings and sauces. Tried the fried chicken corn dog with cheese and dog filling. Fried just right with gooey mozzarella! Also tried one of their drinks: pineapple lemonade. Refreshing with a few pieces of fresh fruit. Great casual dinner option for the family when at the mall.

First time trying BoomDog because Two Hands has gotten expensive. Ordered the BoomBox that had 5 different corn dogs all with half sausage and half cheese. Order came out pretty fast. The cheese is so stretchy and the sausage taste so good just the right enough of saltiness to pair with the sweetness of the dough of the corn dog. My favorites were the fried chicken and the sweet potato. Trying them with the mustard, ketchup, spicy sauce and cheese kept a nice flavor combination through out the corn dog allowing for a better tasting experience. Not too greasy and the dough was crunchy yet soft enough for my one year old to bite into it and enjoy as well. For the price the box is definitely worth it whether you can eat them all or share with friends. I'd definitely recommend and...
