I had a mixed experience with Ronbow. While the cabinet craftsmanship, particularly the edge bending, appears to be of good quality and the customer service was outstanding — special thanks to Ding Ding, Alex Zhang, John, and Roger for their professionalism and efforts — the handleless kitchen cabinets I received came with several issues that impacted both functionality and everyday usability.
Gola routing too deep: The Gola channel was routed too deep, causing it to sit too far back and expose the cabinet frame. I reported this on February 1, 2025, but was told it wasn’t a design or manufacturing defect —To correct it, my installer inserted a thin wood chip behind the Gola assembly clips to push it forward, covering the frame.
Unstable Gola: In September 2025, Ding Ding visited my kitchen and found the Gola trim wobbling. Alex from customer service quickly arranged for John to fix the instability and Roger to inspect the shallow Gola, which he confirmed met Ronbow’s specifications.
Fragile Gola clips: Despite minimal kitchen use (due to ongoing construction), John discovered that most of the Gola assembly clips were already broken, explaining the instability. Since the cabinets are soft-close, the doors never hit the Gola forcefully — so it is concerning that so many clips failed so quickly.
Shallow and impractical Gola design: The Gola depth is less than 0.5 inch, while most handleless cabinet systems recommend at least 25 mm (1 inch) for comfortable finger access. Even after adjustments, the shallow design remains awkward and uncomfortable for daily use.
Limited drawer load capacity: Although Blum LegraBox drawers are available in 40 kg (88 lbs.) and 70 kg (154 lbs.) versions, Ronbow only offers the 40 kg option with no upgrade. This limits how much weight wider drawers (like 36” drawers) can safely hold when filled with heavy items like dishes or bowls.
Unsuccessful workaround: To preserve the handleless aesthetic and improve usability, I tried installing the least visible handles - low-profile edge pulls (0.7” in back height). Unfortunately, due to the extremely shallow Gola, the doors could not close fully, as part of the pull sat below the Gola line (see attached photo). While I truly appreciate Ronbow’s excellent customer service and after-sale support, the product design and usability issues have been disappointing. I hope Ronbow will address these functional flaws — particularly the shallow Gola and fragile clips — so future customers can fully enjoy both the look and practicality of their...
Read moreWe signed with this company for custom kitchen cabinets, and I strongly encourage future customers to be very cautious. Here is our actual timeline: Kitchen Cabinets order created on May 31 with ETA of August 21. After multiple calls and emails, the first delivery finally arrived on August 26. A second delivery happened on August 28. Then on August 29, a third delivery was made — but even on that day, items were still missing. Only after we asked again did we learn that some products were “still in production.” Later, we discovered Ronbow had created a completely separate new order number, which meant there would even be a fourth delivery. Other serious issues: They deliberately withhold whether an order is complete, and only inform you of missing products if you discover it yourself. Deliveries are always split into batches without any upfront communication. The invoice is unclear and lacks itemized categories, making it hard to verify what you are paying for. On top of that, they charge extra delivery fees based on stairs and cabinet count. ⚠ What’s worse is that we found other customers had the exact same experience at least two years ago (see attached screenshot). This shows the problem is not accidental — it is systemic and ongoing. This is not a one-off mistake but a longstanding lack of transparency. If you plan to work with them, keep detailed records of all invoices and deliveries. For anyone with similar experiences, I recommend filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) so your case is...
Read moreWe went to the showroom on Dec 22nd 2024. Now it is Aug 16th 2025 and things are still not complete. We won't recommend Ronbow Cupertino.
Details We liked their design so started the design discussion on Dec 22nd. Every time you make a little change, it takes two weeks to one month to hear back. The design developed by Kristine is great though, just takes up to one month for even minir changes.
Then, once the making starts, it takes 6-8weeks. If you are actively being angry at their attempts to delay more, then they can deliver at the time i.e. 6-8 weeks. If not, you would have to wait more (they tried).
When deliverying, even you paid more to deliver the cabinets inside the house, the delivery ppl don't want to do that. Again, you have to be back and forth to make them do the right things.
When some cabinets need more parts to complete, but because we paid all unfront, they don't seem to care to follow up. They said they will send the remaining parts back on June 16th, they simply disappeared. When we followed up with Kristine and Elijah, Kristine advised that we follow up separately with Elijah. He said us to call later. We called Elijah twice more, he's not picking up the phone and now it is Aug 16th, 2 months after waiting for finall small parts.
Ronbow designs and makes good looking cabinets; however, teams are very irresponsible and slow. This is also experience from another friend. We will now have to follow up with their CS. Definitely will not recommend...
