Congrats Da Vien on their second drive thru location!
Parking: There's a medium sized parking lot. Finding a spot can either be a hit or miss.
Ambiance/Environment: Instead of going through their drive thru, I wanted to sit inside. I thought their Stanton location was big, but this is probably their largest location. The inside is spacious with a lot of seating. Very clean and modern. Perfect spot for a hangout and to get some work done. It wasn't too busy for a Thursday.
Service: I mobile ordered ahead. There's a self ordering kiosk on the left of the line, and the register is on the right of the line. The only interaction I had was with the cashier to pick up my order.
Drinks: I picked up coffee for my cousins and I. My go-to is the Egg Cream Coffee. I love how the sweet foam balances with the bitterness of the Vietnamese coffee. I've been getting 50% sweetness with easy ice. Their matcha is also premium. Love their drinks!
Pricing: Average price for coffee nowadays. I might be bias, but...

My friend took me here for the first time for a BOGO event and there was a huge drive-thru line. We decided to walk in and order and the inside felt really busy too.
I felt so bad because I didn't know what to order, and the cashier and staff were so patient and explained everything so well, so positive experience
what really stood out was that I made a passing comment to my friend after getting our drinks saying "Oh its alright", and the person who called out the drink offered to remake my drink or even swap it out for something else even though they were obviously busy. I didnt even have to ask they just offered
At the end of the day, its little things like that that will get people to come back. I wasnt even super in love with the coffee, but I'll make this a new regular spot just because I know ill get good...
Read moreLove that it's a drive thru, as most Vietnamese coffee places are not drive thrus. They are always really quick with orders. Even if there is a line of cars, it feels like I'm in and out. And the drinks are great.

Since it's not easy to manually type a tip on a device somebody else is holding out of a window, I feel like I have to choose one of the presets, which can come out to over $1. It may not seem like a lot, but it turns a $6 coffee into $7, which adds up and is a lot of money for a drink. Sure I could just not tip, but having them hold it out and wait for you to tip feels pressuring. I think customers like it better when places just pay employees enough to not rely on mandatory...
