The associate named Sage needs to be SEVERELY retrained. She had no idea what sales the store were offering, nor did she know how to accurately do simple math. She rang me in for a promotion on a purse that came with a card holder— well, she initially charged me for only a wallet (when the purse and cardholder were both on the table) then when told she rang me in for the purse NOT at the promotion- just all separately. When asked why there was a charge she gave me an attitude. I told her forget the whole thing I’m just going to leave- then she proposed to give me a refund since I had already had swiped my card on the wrong amount but it was two transactions and she only refunded ONE. So now I’ve essentially paid 3xs for an item that should have been free….also zero service at this outlet so couldn’t check my statement until I got back home which means now the store is closed. Seriously speaking, Sage, if YOU don’t know what you’re doing— call a manager; that’s why they are there. If you don’t wanna do that- don’t work in customer service. Sorry girl, this just isn’t for you. ESPECIALLY with the attitude. I would let it slide cause it’s only 28 bucks but, wow, the attitude was just horrible especially when you’re the one that messed up and didn’t even fix the problem before I left the store. Now I have to make another trip over there to try and get a refund AND you didn’t place refund receipts inside the bag lmao. So now how am I supposed to explain this to your manager? I hope you see this and ask for...

I like their purses and even better, I love their prices. Don't let the tags fool you, get a staff member's assistance and they will be able to calculate the price for you after their discounts (before taxes).
The new space has so much more walking room and bigger selection; purses, clothing, earrings and other jewelry, and sometimes, you can get lucky and find special items they typically don't discount.
I went on a Tuesday night, meaning they were not as busy and it was not as crazy. However, I went during Christmas (yes, I said it!) season. It was staffed properly, they had a nice person greeting people at the door. I was asked once if I needed help and was left alone until I was ready (in my opinion, this is the best way). When I did ask for help, the person helping me respected my time, answered all my questions, and was sincere about giving me an opinion on what to buy and what not to buy.

Read moreKate Spade Outlet had an amazing sale the weekend when I visited to purely window shop. Unfortunately, there was a torrential thunderstorm that caused minor flooding! I thought I had avoided the rain when it had passed through my part of the city, but I failed to realize that it traveling in the direction of Kate Spade! Oh well. The fact that I drove through a crazy storm to get to this shop made my husband say, “There’s no way you’re not buying anything when we drove through that!! It would make this trip pointless!”
Kate Spade was crowded with shoppers hiding from the rain, as well as shoppers roaming the crazy sale (additional 20% off items already marked 50% off). I ended up purchasing the Newberry Lane Small Loden, which is black saffiano leather with gold plating. Saffiano is one of my favorite leathers for purses, because it’s sturdy and scratch resistant. The purse was originally $400 and the discounted price with taxes came around $140. Awesome deal! I am now a Kate Spade fan, but I’m never driving through a crazy storm again just...
