Straight into it when we walked in the atmosphere was still in Christmas mode and it's August . The guy who sat us placed us at a table that was very inconvenient and right behind where you enter like it was not supposed to be there at all. Me and my partner were given one menu and two menu specials so we had to share. We ordered gyoza of pork and veggies (5pc) they were fine however the moment I dipped it in the soy sauce and put it in my mouth I was hit by a metallic and sour taste. For our food my partner got the chicken katsu entree and I had the beef yakisoba hibachi and we both ordered miso soup which was fine but the veggies or (seaweed) was very chewy so we stopped eating it. Then the meal arrived and we tried the mixed vegetables which lacked flavor and salt. The white rice ended up being dry and as for the food my partner's chicken katsu was bland and tasted as if they forgot to salt and pepper the chicken. And it was also given a water taste as if it was frozen and rapidly cooked. As for the beef yakisoba hibachi it was horrible I mean don't get this unless you want a rubber tasteless piece of beef that are very small and the noodle we're fine however the sauce that covered them had to been bad or expired as a sour and bitter of spoil tastes and felt a rush of uneasiness enter my mouth as I took the first bite. I started to gag and feel the coat of saliva cover as I rushed to the bathroom to puke. We then asked for the check once I had returned and paid and left a tip as it is not on the poor waiter for the poor tasting food but please if you plan to eat Japanese cuisine or have a meal I strongly advise that you look elsewhere as you may get sick from...
Read moreMonday April 3rd ... My lil lady and I went to eat sushi before our outlet mall trip. While sitting there looking at the menus that were sticky and falling apart, I noticed a young lady cleaning the tables off, as the lunch crowd had just cleared out. Our waitress came and took our order and we both got waters. While waiting and talking with my beautiful sweetheart, I noticed that the woman who was cleaning the tables had abruptly stopped and scurried away quickly. I shrugged it off but it was odd to say the least. Then after only a few moments of talking, the woman returns back with another woman who was either a head waitress, or manager. I noticed them looking all around this table on the ground and thought perhaps they had lost something. Our waitress brings out the waters and my salad and my better half her miso soup. After eating a few bites of salad that was covered in a terrible ginger dressing, I noticed that what the ladies were looking at was disturbing. Crawling up the wall was a line of bugs of all sizes going up to the ceiling and down the wall and onto the ground where the women were gathered in confusion. I told my lady and went to wash the terrible ginger salad out of my mouth. I pick up my water and no lie.. there was a bug in it. This means that my water which i had just received couldn't make it from the kitchen or fountain without getting a bug in it... What about my food? We were both disgusted. I got up and we left right away. No one said anything as I'm sure they could see we were disgusted. I won't be back.. and i only gave it a star cuz i had to in...
Read moreIs there a way to post 10 stars?? We love this place and go about once a week. The restaurant atmosphere is relaxing and clean. The staff if personable and top-notch! So now...the food (insert eye roll of pleasure). The hibachi seafood platter (lobster, calamari, scallops, shrimp and veggies), Unh! Worth every penny! And that is coming from someone who has hated seafood all my life (shrimp excluded). They make everything wonderful here. I've even had soft shelled crab many times...and it is delicious; I am converted. The beef negima, thin beef wrapped around green onions, charred on hibachi then drizzled with lovely terriyaki sauce...mouth salivates. Family and friends brought there say it is the best sushi, tuna rolls and the like they have ever had. The tea is crisp and delicious and the coffee is strong. The prices are reasonable and we have never walked out of there without smiling and talking about what we will try on our next visit. Try this place just once--you won't be sorry and you will go back just like we did, again and again. Tomiko is a staple...
