let me start off my saying i love dr guimont. she’s always professional and always hears what you have to say. but recently after having my newborn daughter seen for her first pediatric visit i’m not too sure when it comes to if i still want to go. one of the nurses stated “dr guimont sure does love babies because that is one ugly baby in there” and when she said this two other coworkers of hers laughed too. don’t get me wrong i know we all have opinions but there should be a place and time for you to say that AND not when there are patients right inside the rooms. i brought this concern up to the staff, then the staff told their manager and then the manager called me. but i never heard back about the situation and the ma still works there. idk i might just get a new pediatrician. at the end of the day my baby is healthy and that’s what matters because i was a high risk pregnancy that i had to be seen weekly, and when my baby girl was born we had to stay a few days extra because she had lost a lot weight more than average and she had really high billyrubin levels.
oh and when i finally got an update about what the mas’ consequences were & they advised me that she swore up and down that she didn’t say that…
so i imagined her saying that? and then hearing her two coworkers laugh too? gtfooh
if you all do go… i guess y’all need to have really thick skin because i didn’t know what to say to that ma because first i was in disbelief she said that and secondly that the other coworkers laughed and third that the manager didn’t call me back to follow up on the matter Janelle Thompson is her name
and the mas’ name i’m not sure but she did mention that her and my daughter shared the same birthday and this ma is in her middle or late 40s’ about 5’5 or 5’6 about 175lbs african american and she works in the second floor within the pediatric office with dr g
i really am going to miss dr g just because she’s always been good to us and my children love her AND she’s been my second sons pediatrician since he was born… so for 6 years now
and i know this is irrelevant but one of the coworkers that had laughed is someone i’ve known since middle school and all throughout high-school… she was more...

Thanks to these so called "Specialists" I am probably about to lose my hearing and go deaf on both ears. I do music for a living my ears are important to me. They told me I had nothing, it was just dryness. They prescribed ear drops. Little did I know that I had something much more serious. I came here TWICE, the second time I came here I had a different doctor. I told her my problem, she did not even want to listen to me. So, my mom told her to at least check my ears. The "specialist" said I have nothing,my ears are clean, it's just dryness the bleeding was probably from something else. I asked her if she could explain why I had liquid coming out of my ear. She contradicted herself and said something is wrong. But, never bothered checking any further. I left, I continued the prescribed ear drops. Then, I stopped they were not helping at all. Those ear drops were making my symptoms worst. There was much more liquid, there were times I could not hear anything, I had more bleeding and a lot of itchiness. I wish I could have gone to Mexico earlier. I am currently taking meds. If these meds work, I won't need the surgery. If I would have gone to Mexico earlier, there would be no possibility of surgery. However, since, I did not go earlier there is a possibility that I will need surgery. Along with that surgery is also a possibility to lose my hearing. I pray to God that I won't need surgery, I hope these meds work. I thank God I went to Mexico, if not I would have lost my hearing completely on both ears. Please do not waste...
Read moreWhere do I start? This is my first time giving any business any rating, and I own a retail business, so I know some people give crappy reviews for something no one can relate to. My 11 year old daughter has enlarged lymph nodes and her pediatrician recommended an ENT at this hospital. Overall the doctors were fine: they were knowledgeable and nice, BUT everything else was unimaginable. Maybe it was the fact that we didn’t have insurance and all they wanted was to make sure we had enough money to pay for the 5 min visit that cost us $400. Maybe they treat people differently depending on the ability to pay. Not sure. But some of office staff were extremely unpleasant and rude and honestly unprofessional. Our ENT ordered CT scan on Thursday morning and I haven’t heard anything for two days. Not that I would go back to that hell for that. Maybe they don’t need my cash. My husband is a cancer patient at UT Southwestern, and has been almost 4 years, so I’m not new to big hospital procedures. We’ve been to several hospitals for different procedures and we’ve never been treated like this. Hospitals are business too, I understand. UTSW has exceeded my expectation in terms of their professionalism and patient care, every single time. And I was told that doctors at this facility are affiliated with UTSW, reason why I agreed to go see the ENT. In comparison, this facility and staff are not just under par, but it’s infuriating. It was a very unfortunate experience for us, but I hope my experience was just an...
