I recently attended a perfume-making class at Coco and Shea, and while the class itself was enjoyable and provided a unique experience, there were some aspects that left room for improvement in the overall customer experience. Let's start with the positives - the actual perfume-making process was a delight. Selecting scents and creating a personalized fragrance was a truly engaging and enjoyable experience. Karon, the instructor, brought a vibrant energy to the class, making the entire process even more enjoyable. His enthusiasm and expertise added a positive vibe to the session, contributing significantly to my overall satisfaction. On the flip side, I encountered some challenges with the owner, who seemed to be less accommodating. I brought in outside food, unaware of the policy, and felt uncomfortable due to the owner's response. Clear communication on this policy beforehand or a gentle reminder during the class would have been appreciated. Similarly, while the class offered cocktails, there were limited options for those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages. Providing a broader selection or alternatives would enhance inclusivity for all participants. A noteworthy positive is their willingness to accommodate of dietary restrictions. One notable area for improvement is the responsiveness of the customer service team. I filled out a contact form a week ago and have yet to receive a response. Timely communication is essential for customer satisfaction, and this aspect fell short of expectations. Despite these drawbacks, the perfume-making class itself was a hit with my friends, and they are eagerly anticipating wearing their custom fragrances. With a few adjustments to enhance communication and customer experience, Coco and Shea could transform a good experience into an...
Read moreI recently had the most incredible experience at Coco and Shea Dallas, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and hospitality by the staff. They truly know how to make you feel welcome, and being greeted with complimentary champagne was such a lovely touch.
The professionalism of the staff was outstanding. Not only did they expertly guide us through the candle-making process, but they also took the time to connect with each member of the class, ensuring that everyone felt valued and included. Plus, the curated playlist they had playing in the background created the perfect ambiance – it really set the mood for a fun and creative evening.
Now, let's talk about the signature cocktail – absolutely delicious! It added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. And don't even get me started on the charcuterie board! It was a delightful surprise to have something tasty to nibble on while waiting for our candles to dry.
Speaking of candles, the candle-making itself was so much fun! And let me tell you, the end result was beyond my expectations. My three-wick candle smells absolutely amazing – I've been burning it non-stop since I got home.
Overall, I had the most amazing time at Coco and Shea Dallas, and I'm already planning my next visit. Whether you're looking for a fun activity with friends or a unique date night experience, I highly recommend checking them out. You won't be...
Read moreI have never been to a candlemaking class, Cocoa & Shea definitely set the standard! It is located in the heart of Dallas. I attended the experience with a friend. The music, the flow, and the energy was so chill - AN ENTIRE VIBE!
I had no idea making candles would be such a meticulous process. Holland is so understanding, patient, and knowledgeable about the candlemaking process. Our adults only experience included refreshing water, a delicious charcuterie board for two, one glass of champagne, and one cocktail/mocktail - trust me, it was more than enough!
There is parking in the back and it's about a 2 min walk to the door of the venue. If you are vacationing, here for a corporate event or just looking for the best things to do in Dallas, be sure to add this experience to your list. You will not be...
