It’s not just about bad grades or hard critiques it’s about the constant feeling of being gaslit, minimized, and treated like I was never good enough no matter how hard I tried. I put in the effort, I participated, I showed up, I opened up and what did I get? Professors who couldn’t be bothered to care, peers who stayed silent when I needed support the most, and a toxic culture that seemed more interested in breaking people down than building them up.
