Beware when you buy house of CB online from Nordstrom.
I ordered a couple of dresses from house of CB for my birthday weekend on Nov 11. Recently, they delivered one of the dresses to me on a Tuesday, Nov 1, and I noticed the security tag had been sewn in together. Due to the nature of work, the next day (Nov 2), I went to Nordstrom Northpark to return the dress.
One of the managers told me he couldn't return it because the security tag had been damaged due to their policy. He then started pulling on the label and made it rips even more, then gave it back to me. I told him it was delivered to me this way. I even offered to show him the tracking number, which had the date and time when it was given to me. He still doesn't seem to believe me.
Then, I went to customer service and talked to the acting manager in charge of the store for the night because the store manager had left for the day. She then told me she couldn't do anything. Then, I asked her why am I being forced to pay for a dress that clearly was Nordstrom's fault for sending me a used dress. (since there were two uii on the tag) She then shrugged her should and gave me a pathetic apology.
Then I asked her if the other dresses I ordered came to my house and had the same issue. Is it fair to say, "suck to suck, I can't do anything about it? And I'm paying for someone else mistake at Nordstrom?" She said, "yes."
I understand due to the competitiveness of high online orders, to make sure your customers' orders are there on time. Nordstrom is forced to fulfill online orders through the stores. However, would it be fair to check to see if it's damaged before sending it? If you want to avoid this situation, maybe don't fulfill any online orders in-store. Am I supposed to open all my boxes I ordered from Nordstrom regarding the "house of CB" in the store to prove that I didn't wear it? What's the point of shopping online? Or shopping at Nordstrom?
I have never been so disappointed in my life. I heard Nordstrom's customer service has gone down tremendously over the year. But when did you all stop trusting your customers when I clearly have time and date stamps proving I didn't wear the dress?
Overall, everyone told me to show up to the same store tomorrow to talk to the store manager and house of the CB manager so they can tell me the same thing

There were plenty of women that came to my aid to give me advice and to introduce to me every single new product that was on the shelf. But I want to give out a great shout to Evelyn extension 3615 who is the advisor for such brands like Dior and Marc Jacobs. Evelyn is actually a prototype of perfect marketing. She knew how to bring out the best in the sale. Next is a wonderful woman named Misty who works for Armani and Valentino. These two women are the best in the business and it would be in your best interest to speak with them. There were many other women who spent so much time with me and they introduced me to many different brands that I never thought I would ever look at. Despite not knowing their names I still think of them and would like to give a shout out to anyone who remembers a person who loves perfume and cologne. Out of 25 to 30 different types of colognes and perfumes I submit the pictures below because they were out of this world and brought a new sense of clarity to my senses. There is artistry and then there is God like artistry which is what these perfumes that I have put down here so that you will take a smell of them. Believe me I will return and I will buy those $500 bottles of perfume from my lady love. These perfumes are perfect in that they bring out the best in everyone. So I give a message to management that each of these girls is to receive a magnificent raise and don't throw away those displays of new perfumes. Instead be generous and give it to those who spend their day trying to sell the company and its products. If you can't give it to him then let them buy for 50% off. But include a nice little vacation and a few days off for them to enjoy themselves. They are the best that you have and they do better when they have been given something as precious as those things that they know so much about. To all of you who plan to go and visit North Park Mall I would encourage you to spend an hour or two with these people and get to learn of the ingredients of these perfumes and the oils that make it possible for you to smell good for...
Read moreSorry Nordstrom has been amazing for the 10-15 years my wife and I have shopped there. But sometimes you can have such a colossal mess up that it negates all of the good in the past.
My wife recently ordered almost $1000 worth of items for the anniversary sale online. One of many over the years. One of the items, a Dyson Airwrap $500, was not in the box yet listed in the packing slip. Look at the box in the picture: an airwrap would not even FIT inside the box they sent us.
Of course we weren’t too upset because we knew how great Nordstrom was about refunds and returns. That’s why it came as a complete surprise when they flat out, rejected us twice after two different live chats and emails explaining the problem.
There was no package tampering, and I have no suspicions that someone during the delivery process took it out of the box because as I said, there’s no way one would fit in THIS box (see picture) . Somebody screwed up on their end and they are not willing to make it right.
A company that big should have systems in place to backtrack and make absolutely sure when a customer says an order wasn’t in the box that it was actually packed. Maybe you have camera footage of the people packing the boxes? I’m not sure. But according to Nordstrom, they did an investigation and the result of the investigation was we’re not getting a refund.
So beware if you’re ever going to order from them. If you know my story and still order, there is literally no way you can safeguard yourself from this happening to you. You won’t know your left high and dry until after you receive your package and will get no recourse. It is your word against theirs .
EDIT : Thank you for replying. We did that already. They denied after. But we are about to go to the store in person bringing our box along with the new box with the second Dyson air wrap that we ordered to replace the missing one. When both are set side-by-side, it is pretty obvious one won’t fit in the other, so hopefully Doing this face-to-face and the store will give us a better result. I will update my review accordingly.
