Nordstrom Ebar Artisan Coffee — Restaurant in Dallas

One of the worst experiences in a food/beverage establishment! First I’m at the counter waiting to place my order and a gentleman was standing behind the bake case eating a sandwich and failed to acknowledge me until he finished eating. Then walks over to the Register and not with a friendly Hello like I’m used to getting. But then I place my order and move along and as I’m waiting for my drink, I see the barista not attending to my order and he’s on his phone texting. And then when he realizes I’m standing waiting he starts to make my drink. As I only ordered a Americano one of the simplest drinks to make he then pours the espresso into the cup and places it on the counter. As I stand there in shock because the drink was not made fully. So I tell him that it’s Americano and he says “oh” then pours water into it and hands it over. I felt like something was off tonight or maybe no close supervision or a lack there of. There are many other coffee shops in this location to choose from like LaLa, which always has exceptional service! And then there’s Eataly, Starbucks, and Nespresso. I will second guess going here until they treat their loyal customers...

I usually order just one thing here--chocolate milk. I know it might seem childish, but it's my go-to at Ebar. I'm not a big coffee drinker, and when I visit places like this, I typically go for an Italian soda. The workers here are chill. They're not overly friendly, but they get the job done, which I respect.

The only thing keeping this place from getting a five-star review is the other customers.
