I came to this restaurant when I was a child because my family was on the hunt for a new Chinese fast food restaurant since the last one was bought and turned into a taco place. The shrimp fried rice was amazing to my seven year old self.
After years, I finally came back and kept coming back. The fried rice tastes amazing. There's green onion, bean sprouts, egg, and fried shrimp (I usually ordered the shrimp one). That was my main order from such a place. Then I ordered the lo mein after years of having the same thing, and I was in love. The noodles are filling and chewy, the veggies are cooked and full of flavor with a slight crunch to them, and the beef and shrimp are amazing (though the shrimp is slightly fried and gets soggy in the brown rice). If my stomach could handle more food, I'd eat more in one sitting.
I also like their fried dumplings. You can get them steamed or fried. Their orange chicken is sweet and spicy and tasty, and the sesame chicken is also another favorite.
To be fair, the price for some of the drinks are a little more expensive. Like around two dollars for those gatorades. The food isn't very salty, so you don't really need a drink, but if you do, there are seventy cent drink options.
Another problem I've heard is that the half the dishes use the same brown sauce. The brown sauce is almost between bland and flavorful, so it's not overwhelming and makes it easy to eat. I personally like it.
Best thing about this place is the portion size. I come here as of now occasionally with my best friend when we work until around 8 PM and need something to munch on. We can literally share a plate and be satisfied (though because we love the food so much we just get our own plates...and end up with leftovers).
There was once or twice that the food came out bad, but compared to the hundred of times that we eat there, I...
Read moreMy husband and I order take out from here way too often. We have tried other Chinese fast food joints in the area and this was is the best so far. They know us by name when we come in and often know what we want before we even order. They are great with special requests (ie. we always get steamed rice rather than fried, and we like our food extra spicy). We have never had it delivered as we live 5 minutes away. Oh, also, on most nights when we walk and order as opposed to calling ahead, the food is ready in less than 10 minutes. I must admit that there have been a few rare occasion when the food hasn't been up to snuff, but I failed to complain. When you eat some place as often as we do you are bound to hit it on a bad night or with...
Read moreThe beef & broccoli should be called mushy meat & vegetables in brown sauce cause that's really what its is. The fried rice tastes like water & like legit some parts weren't even fried. Egg roll was good, No fortune cookie tho & like that rice has no flavor so they should like automatically give you soy sauce but they don't. Like I get it like people like it but I'm not typical. I dont eat artificial dyes or like corn syrup & like I stick to all organic. So ya know I'm definitely not finna eat some mushy mystery meat. & everyone that accepts that as food, y'all don't have taste buds, yall probably eat cheetos & drink mountain Dew, like it ain't...
