We are so grateful we chose Vestals Catering for our wedding! In fact, we loved them so much that we went through the process of getting special approval from our venue to use them, as they weren't on the preferred vendor list. Spoiler alert: Vestals was so professional and impressive that our venue is now considering adding them as a preferred vendor. That speaks volumes! From our very first tasting, we were completely blown away by both the incredible quality of the food and the team's professionalism. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail made it clear we were working with true culinary professionals who take pride in their craft. We originally envisioned a fajita buffet for our reception, but my parents wanted more traditional options like chicken and beef. Vestals was incredibly flexible and understanding, working with us to create a menu that honored everyone's preferences without any stress or pushback. They made the transition seamless. Throughout the planning process, the Vestals team was responsive, helpful, and a true pleasure to work with. They offered expert guidance on everything from seasonal dish selections to presentation ideas that elevated the entire dining experience. What could have been a stressful part of wedding planning felt seamless and genuinely enjoyable. The fact that our guests are still raving about the meal says it all! The food presented to us at our tasting was much different than the food presented at our wedding, not in a good way. The linens we chose during our tasting were not the correct linens on our wedding day. We paid vestals $150 for “security” that never showed up (required by vestals because we were serving alcohol). We also paid for a “Venue Manager” who ended up leaving one hour after the venue was made available to us on our wedding day; come to find out, that individual left to help assist with another venue vestals had booked that day. The only positive to come out of this situation was the catering staff, they greeted everyone with a smile and were very personable. After discussing this with the venue director she agreed to reimburse us for all the things (as listed above) that went wrong with our wedding day experience. Upon further discussion she would write us a check in the amount we agreed upon; she promised that both, the bride and grooms family would receive a Christmas Eve dinner and she promised to cater another event for the brides family, grooms family and the wedding party. We were more than pleased with this offer; however, the services they offered fell through once again. We had to call two months later regarding our check; only to find out they never sent it. They also never ended up sending us our dinners. After a brief discussion with the venue director I asked if it would be possible to write another check for the services she promised us above and be done with this. She explained that she wouldn’t be able to make that happen. Be prepared to be disappointed with lackluster experience when using this venue/catering company.
