Christopher Martin Gallery — Attraction in Dallas

I own a one-of-kind that Christopher made for me. The result of a sales desk slip up, the piece did not exist when I placed the order. Martin could have easily declined and refunded the money. Instead he rose to the challenge, set out to fill the order masterfully before disposing of the handful of rejects. Signed 1/1, it’s the single most favorite in my collection.

Then I have a couple other of Christopher’s pieces. They date back to his canvas and shadow box days. Christopher is a very talented artist. His works are recognizable around the world, and Dallas is lucky to have him and the Martin Gallery.

For the most part his staff is welcoming and knowledgeable with the exception of one front-desk person, who’s moodiness I have written off as a consequence of her pregnancy. While highly unlikely to happen again or to anyone else, it was a reminder art isn’t...

This gallery not only has a breathtaking rotating selection of pieces, but also a truly special and wonderful staff. I had the honor of working with the director, Natalie, and Kirsten on using their space for my wedding ceremony a few weeks ago. Over six months they were always avalable to meet, e-mail, text or for in-person meetings with us, our photographer, our chair rental contact, or our florist. Not only was she a wonderful contact for the event side of things, but she was so invested in us and our event in a way that put everyone involved at ease and gave them the giddy excitement the day deserved.

Costa Christ’s photography is amazing. He flew to Houston from Dallas one morning, we drove to the spot for the photos, asking all kinds of questions about the car and location along the way, and we were done shooting in about 20 min. Before the end of the day, I had a proof and within about 3 weeks, the hood was in my study. The install took about 15 minutes and was professionally delivered and installed. Result?
