Where to start. We are locals showing family around downtown for the weekend. We never heard of Wild Bills before but decided to go in and check it out. We were impressed by the inventory and my wife started looking at some boots. I had promised her a pair so I told her to look around and see if she liked anything. We are the kind of people that love supporting smaller businesses. We were helped by this gentlemen who was very knowledgeable in western wear and he told us he was the son of Bill the owner. He was phenomenal in helping us find the right pair of boots and even went the extra mile to accommodate and break in the pair of boots my wife fell in love with. We decided then and there to purchase the boots as we were so thankful for the care and excellent customer service and experience the gentlemen provided. I went to the front counter and paid for the boots and a pair of socks. Even stretched my hand out for a hand shake but it was denied due to COVID protocols which is fully understandable. My wife walked out wearing her boots so happy which made me happy. We walked down the street for coffee and walked back to our car. As we were walking back the same gentlemen who assisted us flagged us down claiming he was told we did not pay for the boots. At first we thought it was a joke but he was serious. At that point, I felt a little angry and pulled out the receipt and showed him the PROOF OF PURCHASE. Honestly, this was very disappointing. He saw me make the purchase in front of him. Sadly, I was looking forward to coming back and buying myself a new pair but due to this experience I will not buy from here again. Before accusing someone of stealing, please be ABSOLUTELY 100 PERCENT sure that is what's going on. Sad to say I do not even remember an apology for the...
Read moreDO NOT GET YOUR COWBOY GEAR ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Wild Bills is THE spot. I flew in from Vancouver Canada and let me tell you Casey at Wild Bills gave me THE BEST experience ever. If only I had thousands of dollars I would have bought everything Casey touched. He wasn't just a sales person... He gave me the full run down on the history, superstition, and how to wear my cowboy gear. I learned more from him in 1 visit than I did in my 2 weeks in Dallas. Initially I planned on getting my hat from Fort Worth (as probably all the tourist do) But I am so happy I didn't. Casey took his time to find the right hat for me, told me what to wear with it, and how to style it. He even branded it with a cute little long horn. When I went to Fort Worth No one batted an eye at me... It was just sell, sell, sell... I even wanted to get more branding done on my hat but I was told "They can't brand black hats...." on top of it being double the price than what I was charged at Wild Bills... I can go on and on about how great my experience was but you'll have to go visit yourself. It's a whole experience and when you do make sure you go see Casey. I will be seeing him next time I visit Dallas for more branding and I'm sending everyone I...
Read moreMy wife is British, and has never tried on a pair of cowboy boots in her life. Her two feet are different sizes, so finding even a normal pair of sneakers that will fit is a challenge, let alone something as personal and close fitting as a cowboy boot. Enter Wild Bill's and their incredible staff. We had two reps work with us for almost two hours helping just me and my wife pick out a pair of boots each. We both ended up with Lucchese boots, and my wife even found a really cute pair that have an almost English printing across them, with an English style toe. The perfect balance, and they fit like a glove. Normally she gets blisters for a week or so after purchasing any new pair of footwear, but we walked all the way around AT&T Stadium in them, and she kept saying they're the most comfortable shoes she's ever worn, and they didn't give her a single blister. Insane! If you want the most incredible, selection of high-quality cowboy boots, hats, jeans, shirts, jewelry, etc, then why are you going anywhere other than Wild Bill's? The man is a legend, and you'll feel like one too, walking out of this joint....
