Major inconvenience. 😮💨 The public offices we elected only work about 32 hours for us instead of the full 40 to be able to come into the office on Friday to get simple community things done. I would like to pull a yard sale permit the correct way they want or they would fine us but instead they want to have nobody in the office, no cashier and no permit staff in office to be able to handle this request. Do away with people entirely and just let computers run that portion of applying and paying online like many other building permits and fines that can get paid online on their city site instead of having us use our time and gas to drive here and then be turned away at the door for letting government officials to have three days off and we help pay for those salaries to just be told no or them using old ways and not updating their technology to modern times for easy tasks like this. Do better and serve your people accordingly, update tech and be in on Fridays when the public is a little more available to get things done unlike the rest of the week 🙄
P.s. even with appointment to that office on a Friday wouldn't be the solution, I called the number ans was told this new policy of offices being closed on fridays has started since covid. Well, how nice that was 4 years ago and they have had a free Friday for that long without fixing the Friday or tech...
Read moreThis city is so corrupt. The magistry . The employees. They all forget they work for us. This city makes hundreds of thousands of dollars by giving unfair violations. They don't respect the code themselves. These officials need to be brought to justice.
I went to see a magistry who didn't let me speak and threatened me scort me out , all because I challenge him as the violation are ok according to the statue. On that day I witnessed how the city pocketed at least 80.000 $ dollars of completely unfair citations.
The elected officials are all white, with German last names. They are super racist. The city of Dania beach is a city of minorities. We don't accept this treat.
We need to fight these corrupts bigots...
Read moreYesterday, I closed on a duplex in Dania Beach. Today, I visited City Hall to complete some paper work and was pleasantly surprised at how easy, efficient and friendly the place was. Literally everyone was super nice and incredibly helpful, from the Security to the Cashier, the check-in person and the lovely young lady in zoning (who was filling in for a colleague), everyone was wonderful. Also, shout out to Rupert who came out to turn back on the water at my property when it was turned off in error. I am so excited to have a property in a city where it feels as it everyone loves their job....
