Absolutely terrible experience we had on Easter Sunday, 3/31/2024. We came from Georgia and decided to support this shop from all of the other souvenir shops that were there, and at the end I was attacked by the petite black hair, olive skin, braces on, glasses on, little human lady. She was absolutely ridiculously angry, having zero customer service skills, running after us all the way onto the beach, yelling her lungs out, saying we are thieves and that our card was declined, and threatened to call the police. First of all, our card did not decline, and we had the receipt in the bag. So the other employer, bald head older dude, did confirm that it was the wrong people that she attacked. I advise her to get a second pair of glasses and learn customer service skills before attacking people. Because if she was in Ukraine, she would get a big slap in the face with their own clothes that they sold to us. The quality of their Tshirt stamp is a 1/5. I was not going to buy it but I felt bad for them. I advise everyone not to go there, because they will grab you and again try to rob you and swipe your card twice. I wish the owner would read this, and reteach her how to behave, because one time she could do it to the wrong person and get herself in...
Read moreTLDR: False advertising/pricing! Just. Don't. Shop. Here. They advertise Disney (Star Wars) towels and they had a fair selection. Stumbled across the clearance section and found a Rogue One, Ford Mustang, and V.I.P. towels marked for $7.99. Everything on these shelves are $7.99 for one or $15 for two. I inspect the Rouge One towel and compared it to the hanging ones that were $19.99 and thought maybe it had been returned or was on the floor and needed to be washed, so I ask what the difference might be. I'm told they don't return towels, it's wrong, a customer did it and they rip off the FLAT tag in front of me. Like a barrage of excuses on rapid fire. I gave them a chance to correct themselves because it was marked down, on the proper marked down shelf, and I could tell it was an associate who marked it incorrectly. I said you're kidding and I'd like to buy it for the $7.99. They refused. They weren't even that good. $8 maybe? $20 hell nah. I'm angry because I cannot get the time back I shopped there, terrible experience from staff and having to warn others writing this review. Judging from other reviews; their practices are a bit dodgy to say the least. Again, just don't shop here when there are so many other places to get the...
Read moreI want to express what a great experience I had with one of your employees - Kim. While visiting Daytona - Day 1 I discovered I forgot the number one thing you need on vacation - my bathing suit. Shopping for a bathing suit is a difficult task for me - and we were in a rush to get on the beach - after multi stops to the many bathing suit shops in walking distance to our hotel - we stumbled across Michaels on the Beach - Kim greeted me right away as I was looking at a green and silver big chain novelty necklace up front. I told her I was looking for a bathing suit and gave her my long list of requirements. I was already exhausted from looking. My husband was growing tired of the time it was taking to find a bathing suit due to my long list of needs for a bathing suit. I think Kim sensed this and literally showed me everything that she thought would meet my needs - she never left - bringing me different sizes, colors and shapes. Together we found the perfect suit - crisis avoided, hubby happy and our day on the beach was fantastic! Other shops we visited simply pointed to the bathing suits and I was on my own. So we give a big shout out to Kim - for having patience, discretion and follow through!!!!! KIM...
