I went to Studio #14 ( Makeup by Arya) to have makeup done. I was throwing a small engagement party in my apartment and really just wanted to have something simple so had scheduled for the formal package in this place with Hanady Kadry. I went there with a friend who came to visit me from out of state. When Hanady heard “engagement”, she became extremely rude and threatened to cancel the appointment. She got so mad and tried to force me to choose the engagement package which was almost double the cost and added product and shading that I did not want to have done. I told her that I wanted to have a simple or nature look and then she gave me so much attitude saying that oh I’m putting make up on you what do you mean by natural as if she has never heard this word before.

She told my friend to “keep quiet and leave the store”. I had to talk to her so much to keep her calm and distracted so that she doesn’t mess up with my make up, bc I had no other choice.. during entire time I felt so uncomfortable and nervous. What was even more shocking was that at the time of payment she chose her own tip, again, I didn’t want to even tip her after all the passive aggression and rudeness , but she chose her own tip 😳😳 and she chose a high amount. Because I really didn’t want to deal with her attitude, and I was afraid that she’s going to start shouting around, and make a mess … I just made the payment and left the store.. This was my first experience in this studio and i would not recommend anyone to go and have their make up done by this person. A friend of mine initially recommended this place to me , but she recommended make up to be done by Arya. I haven’t personally met with Arya however she was the one who scheduled this appointment for me in the last moment which I appreciate because I couldn’t find anyone else. Arya is polite and caring person, she goes above and beyond to help. Unfortunately, this girl she works with is not the same. You wouldn’t really want to have a person like this that ruins your special day or...

Got a side rib tattoo from bemmy (sema) which i wish i could show but i wear a scarf but it was AMAZINGG! I got “everything happens for a reason” in arabic and it looked GREAT. you can tell she really puts her time in her designs and looking on her page i knew she was the best. She is so great at what she does and also so cautious and clean. The best tattoo artist if you want a fun design or something done in arabic and on her instagram, bemmy_ink, You can see the amazing designs shes done they are all so beautiful and look absolutely perfect. And shes also so friendly and made me feel so comfortable getting my first tattoo that looked even better than the way i imagined. Honestly shes great! If you are looking for a fun tattoo artist that will never let u down...

Cosmo Salon is an absolute scam. My sister-in-law was only 5 minutes late to her appointment, and instead of being understanding, the owner robbed her of $300. At first, she said she would only keep the $200 deposit, but after my sister-in-law left, she sneakily charged her another $100. On top of that, my sister-in-law even had trouble getting inside the place—and instead of helping, the salon took advantage of the situation.

This is unprofessional, dishonest, and predatory behavior. I do NOT recommend anyone going here unless you want to risk being cheated out of your money. Save yourself the headache and find a salon that respects...
