Discovering UnBurger in Dearborn, Michigan, was like finding a hidden gem that I didn't know I needed in my life. Walking into this cozy spot, I was immediately greeted by the welcoming staff, setting the tone for a dining experience that would exceed all my expectations.
On this delightful visit, I decided to try the Garlic Mushroom Melt, and let me tell you, it was a decision I'd make a hundred times over. The black bean burger was juicy and flavorful, topped with garlic mushrooms that were both aromatic and savory, creating a melt-in-your-mouth experience that was nothing short of divine.
My friend opted for the Chicken Strips Box, which was a hit as well. It's hard to believe these were completely vegan, with a perfect texture and taste that could easily rival any traditional chicken strip. The seasoning was spot-on, making it a dish we couldn't stop raving about.
No meal is complete without a side, and the fries at UnBurger were a standout. Delicious is an understatement; they were perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. A simple side dish elevated to something we couldn't get enough of.
But the highlight of our visit might just have been discovering that all desserts are deliciously vegan, proving that indulgence doesn't have to come at the expense of dietary preferences. Each dessert we tried was a testament to UnBurger's commitment to quality and flavor, wrapped up in a guilt-free package.
The fact that UnBurger offers a completely vegan menu without compromising on taste or variety is truly commendable. It's a place that both vegans and non-vegans can enjoy equally, proving that plant-based eating is not only good for you but can be incredibly satisfying and delicious too.
UnBurger has firmly established itself as a must-visit spot in Dearborn for anyone looking to enjoy mouthwatering, plant-based dishes. With its warm atmosphere, friendly service, and outstanding food, it's a place I'll be returning to often and recommending to everyone I know. Whether you're a seasoned vegan or just curious about plant-based eating, UnBurger welcomes you with open arms and dishes that will leave you wanting more.
Don't miss out on this plant-based paradise...
Read moreI LOVE Unburger! I started coming years ago when I was plant-based. I'm no longer plant-based but just kept coming here lol. The food is just that good. I don't usually like eating out, but when I don't feel like cooking, my Mom and I will drive 30 minutes to get our Unburger fix. I especially love the burgers: the Unoriginal, Double Double, Garlic Mushroom, Sweet BBQ. These burgers are put together like somebody actually cared while preparing them. The "meat" has a nice smoky, savory flavor. The ingredients are super fresh, and the burger is filling. The chik n nuggets are yummy, but you have to eat them fresh and hot. The vegan ranch tastes better than real ranch and I dip the fries and everything in it. The maple mustard is delicious as well.
I tried the chili cheese dogs that they brought for a limited time, and man oh man....it was SO GOOD! I even brought one to work for lunch the next day and warmed it up - it was still good. I really hope they'll consider making this a permanent part of their menu, or at least bring it back one weekend of each month.
The burgers are pricey, but honestly, if paying extra is what it takes for them to not change a single thing about this food, I'll pay it with a smile on my face! I appreciate the quality and will pay for good food.
I'd also like to mention the customer service. The workers are always so nice and welcoming, especially the tall young man at the register. I come here A LOT, and he is always genuinely kind, friendly, and attentive - both over the phone and in person. I've seen people come in not knowing what to order, and he is always so patient with them, and knowledgeable about the menu. Beyond the food, customer service and pleasant interactions with staff go a long way with me. Keep up...
Read moreThe Unburger Grill is a fantastic restaurant, with the ambiance and efficiency of a nice fast food chain, and burgers that wouldn't be out of place in a much fancier establishment. The Beyond Burger is on the menu, and it's a good imitation for nostalgic vegetarians or committed meat eaters, but as far as I'm concerned, the house-made patties are the real stars. One of my friends told me years ago, after trying a Boca Burger, that she was disappointed by how similar it was to real meat: she wanted a veggie burger that was made out of vegetables. The Unburgers at the Unburger Grill are for people like her who aren't looking for a perfect imitation of meat--they taste more like the best version of your hippie friend's homemade veggie patties, which is to say, they taste delicious and like they're made of plants.
I appreciate the variety of veggie patty options (black bean + portobello, kale + quinoa, chickpea + zucchini), and the large selection of interesting and flavorful sides. I was skeptical at first, but the air-fried (let's be honest, baked) french fries were actually great! Any vegan or vegetarian will love this place, and I hope that lots of omnivores will give it a chance as well, as they've clearly put in the thought and effort to satisfy anyone's palate. TL;DR: The Unburger Grill is well worth a try, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
