This was my first experience below! My most recent experience is in the second paragraph.
Absolutely THE BEST SERVICE! The Food was exceptional! Excellent for dinning inside or out. You won’t be disappointed. I totally fell in love with the booths inside. Spacious! Could seat 10 people easily in a booth. Great decor. Friendly attentive wait staff. As a Server Trainer I pay close attention to every little detail. It’s important to be aware of your guest needs at all times, and they did just that. Kudos for such awesome Team Work! Very reasonably priced. 5 Stars across the board.
Most Recent! May 17, I visited with my best friend. I’ve had wonderful experiences up until today! I started not to share this, But I think it’s extremely important for all Businesses to understand that service is an integral part of the dinning experience, as well as the presentation of the food and so on. Today, the waiter decided to bring bread to the table that was burnt. When I mentioned it, He took it very personal and told me that I should just eat it, and that he would bring a fresh one with our meal. I was confused as to why I was having a debate over what I’m paying for. He then continued to come to the table to ask when I was going to eat it, since I made a point of complaining. First and foremost, multiple things took place that were wrong in that equation. For starters the actual back of house and management should ensure that all servers understand the measure of pride and integrity that should be reflected in the service to ALL customers. I’m disappointed. Lastly we never received water refills and was not asked if we wanted to place an order for anything else. After the initial person who sat us distributed water. The air wasn’t on when we first arrived. So I was uncomfortable until it finally came on minutes prior to us leaving. I will leave the above review, as it reflects the service standard that SHOULD but...
Read moreOur dining experience at Malek Al-Kabob Dearborn was nothing short of spectacular! We ordered both the Lamb Galabha and Beef Galabha, and they were simply outstanding.
The lamb chops were perfectly grilled, delivering a smoky and charred exterior with a juicy, tender interior. Seasoned with just the right amount of spices, the flavors of the lamb shone through beautifully. Served on a bed of fragrant rice, with caramelized onions and grilled vegetables, the dish was not only flavorful but also well-balanced in textures and taste.
The Lamb Galabha was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The lamb pieces were beautifully seared, locking in all the juices and spices. The medley of sautéed vegetables added a delightful crunch and freshness to the dish, and the rice served alongside was fragrant and perfectly seasoned, complementing the lamb wonderfully.
The Beef Galabha was equally delicious. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender yet juicy, and packed with rich flavors. The combination of caramelized onions, bell peppers, and a variety of spices created a dish that was bursting with bold and hearty flavors. It paired excellently with the fluffy rice, creating a balanced and satisfying meal.
The mixed kabob platter was a meat lover’s dream. It included juicy beef kabobs, succulent chicken kabobs, and tender chunks of lamb, each seasoned to perfection. The meats were tender, flavorful, and cooked to the ideal doneness. The grilled vegetables, including zucchini, squash, and bell peppers, added a vibrant touch of freshness to the hearty meats. It’s a dish that’s perfect for sharing or indulging solo.
The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was beautiful, showcasing the vibrant colors of the fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked meats. Every bite was a testament to the quality and care put into the preparation of...
Read moreThe food is good and plentiful. You'll have lots of left overs. Be sure to get the fresh pomegranate juice, especially if it is a hot day.
Wooed by the friendly citizens of Detroit we had encountered throughout our trip, we put too much faith in the kindness of a stranger and trusted our waiter to make recommendations. We were two people, he ordered us enough food for 6, or 8. We did not have a fridge in our hotel room so it was a huge waste but arguably it was our own fault. Our server set us up with the meat platter for two but added an order of lamb. I really wish he had have hashed out the details with us before sending it all to our table as it was not what we were expecting. He asked us what we liked, but never said what his plan was. We should not have agreed to trust his judgement and that is on us, but I also think he was trying to run up the bill to run up the tips. The lamb was great, but we would have been fine with just the lamb, and not the chicken, pork, AND beef. This was on top of a giant heaping plate of green salad, a platter of pitas and dips, enough rice pilaf to feed 6, and enough French fries for two people. No two people would have wanted that much food. We could also get french fries and a green salad anywhere, and we would have been happier with more middle-eastern flavours, but again, our fault for putting blind faith in a waiter who didn't really communicate his vision for "taking care of us". What could have been a really cheap, decent meal ended up being a lot more expensive and mediocre. Again, our fault for not steering the ship, but the server is not...
