Target — Local services in Deerfield Township

A manager named Ruby who called me a racist! After I shopped at Costco next door I stopped at Target on Fields Ertel on 11/20/2018 at 8:52 PM. I went to the grocery Dept to get some milk, 2% Deans Pure. I could not find 1 gal bottles so I picked up 4 of the 1/2 gal bottles and asked for a manager. Ruby came to the checkout and I asked her to sell me the 4 of the 1/2 gal bottles for the price of 2 gal bottles since the store was out. She began to tell me about price point etc which I no nothing about and she became difficult. I told her that talking about price point did not help me understand and I said that it meant the same as if it were in a language like chinese. Then she made a comment about me being racist. I was very offended since I have spent my entire life working with internationals from many countries and have never been accused of being racist. I told her I would do my best to get her fired for being so offensive to me. Target does not deserve to have people like her representing your company. I regret even coming to target to shop in spite of it being convenient for me at the time. What a night just trying to get some milk. I found 2 pillows on the clearance shelf and couldn’t find a price tag so i looked inside of the zipper and someone had ripped it off and shoved it inside. I scanned it on my app to make sure it was the right tag and it was so i take them to checkout. I asked The associate if i can Just scan the one tag 2 times because i only Found one. She said “so you found the tag and decided to rip it. Ridiculous” and i told Her “ no i found It shoved inside and someone else ripped it”. She then told me “well i can’t trust that you aren’t scamming us so i will Scan it for you”. Which is fine but she should not assume everyone is stealing. Great Target location, although it's a challenge to come across a bad one! Came here for two things and left with way more, as is the way. Wonderful dollar section with some great deals. Everyday prices are extremely fair and even better with the RedCard (5% off everything). The brands Target partners with and specialize in are all super high quality (All in Motion for athleticwear, Auden and Stars Above for women's clothing, Up & Up foods, etc.). They also have a great selection of toys and games (Lego sets, jigsaw puzzles, board games, etc.). Sales throughout the store no matter what day it is.
