I got my nose pierced here. Great experience. Very good at what they do. Decided to go back to get my 5th tattoo. Decided to go with Omar. He does very nice work and my tattoo looks great but... When I originally inquired about the price he told me $200 and never asked me to fill out any consent paperwork. So I came back a few hours later that day to do the outline (it was a big piece. Needed more than one session). The first experience was great. I went back 2 weeks later to get the color done. He tattooed so hard I ended up bruising later that day and I bled quite a bit (again... not my first tattoo). At the end of the session Omar asked how I would be paying that day, which I thought was strange because I had paid the first time I was there. I was then informed that it was $200 a session... So if I had sat through the pain the first time the tattoo would be $200 but if I split the sessions in half it was $400? Not to mention I was in so much pain that I was coming in for a third session to finish the shading and touch ups. So that would be $600 for a tattoo? I don't think so. He didn't bother to mention all of this until after he was done with the color. Then a few days later he texts my personal cell phone number to ask me a favor for his friend. So unprofessional and inappropriate. His work is amazing but not worth the money and the texts when I've only met him twice. Needless to say if you go here beware of the pricing and make sure you get the full price upfront and make sure you fill out the paperwork... I still have not been asked...

I hate to leave bad reviews and don’t normally do but this review is based strictly on A PIERCING and has nothing to do with any of the tattoo artists. I went here a few weeks back to treat myself with a piercing for my birthday. This is something I don’t ever do, especially having three kids, because I don’t usually have extra money to spend on piercings and such. The piercer was quite unpersonable right off the bat, but I wanted my nostril pierced so I got it done despite the uncomfortable vibes. A few days after I got the piercing and my swelling went down some I started noticing that it was poorly angled. I’ve received comments from friends over the last few weeks that it’s “crooked” and I agree. I also had a few other reputable piercers confirm to me that it was angled poorly. I went in and had it looked at in which he told me the angle is a bit off but it wasn’t the cause of my irritation, though I know for a fact that a poorly angled piercing can definitely cause unnecessary irritation and poor healing. I asked if the angle would get any better as it healed in which the response was just a no. It just seems he didn’t really care that he did a subpar job on a nostril piercing I paid $60 plus a tip for. I get that mistakes happen. I’m a super nice person and I get it completely, but have some passion for your job and care to make it right maybe?! They’re so amazing, I had great and funny conversations and the empathy was so genuine and real. After my session was over, I left feeling on top of the world.
