I gave one star because I was unable to give zero stars. I bought a chair that I really liked but I didn't notice the small pin hole in the front of the chair. It was virtually unnoticeable unless you really looked closely. I would have expected the tag to state that the chair was "as is". Of coarse I didn't notice this hole until after I brought it home. I called and they blamed this on me and said I must have caused the hole since none of them noticed it before I took the chair out of the store and that I should have read the sign written on a chalkboard that stated people should inspect items for damage before Ieaving. They offered to give me 10 percent of the cost back but now I have to spend the money to have this chair reupholstered. I will never shop here again,...
Read moreThis is a fun place to go if you like looking for antiques and collectibles is a three-story old building with dozens small booths throughout the store and each one is a tiny consignment shop. This creates a lot of unique items as each consigner tends to focus on something different. The store is in my hometown and I like to go in there and look around every so often just to see what they have. Deland is a unique town and they have a wonderful little downtown with lots of great shops and restaurants. In all 3 stories, this business has a seemingly endless amount of vintage merchandise from clothing to cookware to magazines and posters, and most everything else imaginable. My Sis and I spent an extended, happy time browsing it all. The building itself is vintage-- Downtown DeLand. Wood floors and high ceilings take me back to the Florida of my boyhood.
