I have shopped at Kohl’s for over ten years and NEVER have I been asked to go to a separate line to purchase two small $10 items that I didn’t even need a bag for, after I was in line to pick up my order. I went to the service desk to pick up my online order and asked if I could also purchase my two small items while there. I was told by the employee that because there was someone behind me, I would have to go to the cashier in the front to be rung up. There was literally one person behind me - not a full line of people. It is Sunday, January 12th, after 6pm and no one is hardly in the store even shopping. I went to the cashier in the front and waited for my turn - which the lady being rung out had multiple items and her son even went back to another section of the store to pick out two more shirts, while I am patiently waiting in line. However, the person who was behind me at the service desk returning her vacuum cleaner had long gone as her transaction was less than four minutes - yet I couldn’t have my two little items rung up there. I have waited patiently at the kohl’s service desk line while customers in front of me had several things they received help for. I have also waited patiently at the kohl’s service desk while the employees have answered the phone and went to great lengths to help out the customer on the phone. Until today I have never complained. But this evening I felt disrespected and not like the employee at the service desk wanted to help me at all. I get this is your policy during busy holiday times or even when there are plenty of people in line. But I do not get why I was told this tonight. If this is store policy, post it conspicuously. However, I will...
Read moreI always loved this place, it's good to go when the season ends for the clearance. But for normal shopping not anymore they have gotten so expensive!, you can find the same things at Walmart's for 1/2 the price, Amazon's even cheaper. And when you call for a product they never have it in stock. They are almost as bad as (TARGET!) (TARGET) IS THE WORST PLACE TO BUY ANYTHING! I LITERALLY HATE, HATE THIS STORE! THEY ACT LIKE EVERYTHING THEY SELL IS LINED WITH GOLD, THEY ARE (WAY, WAY) OVER PRICED AND ALOT OF PRODUCTS ARE JUNK! BUT ALOT OF SNOOTY, SNOOTY!(FEMALES) SHOP THERE, AND AT THE MALL'S! NOW GIVE ME A BREAK, DEPARTMENT STORES & MALL'S ARE GOING TO OBSOLETE IN THE NEAR FUTURE! EVEN GROCERY STORES ARE GOING TO OBSOLETE TOO. SOON EVERYTHING WILL ONLY BE ORDERED ON LINE, THERE'S NOT GOING TO BE ANY KINDS OF STORES IN THE FUTURE, NEAR FUTURE TOO!! SO I HOPE EVERYONE IS READY FOR THESE CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE? IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COMPUTER MY GUESS YOU BETTER GET ONE!, ALSO MY GUESS ON THIS ISSUE THERE PRICES ARE GOING TO SKYROCKET! THAT'S THE WAY OF OUR FUTURE REAL SOON! IF WE'RE STILL AROUND, MAYBE OUR CHILDREN, BUT SURELY OUR GRAND CHILDREN & GREAT GRAND CHILDREN WILL HAVE THIS KIND OF LIFE STYLE! MY OPINION THAT SUCKS! SOMETIMES YOU JUST WANT TO GET OUT & WALK THROUGH...
Read moreAfter a long day at work, I went in looking for navy blue dress shorts for my husband. I searched atleast 45 mins. I finally found a pair of Levi shorts I thought he might like. Let me say that I found 3 20 something people in the Big and Tall section. 1 was standing, 1 was sitting on her ladder, 1 was working. I had to interrupt their laughing conversation to ask for help. The 2 girls that were not working did direct me to the Haggar section thinking I would like their shorts. I finally found it, but did not like anything there. Anyway, I took the shorts and two shirts and stood in line. When I was rung up, I was informed that the Kohl's discount I had did not work on Levi brand. I was so tired and frustrated by that time I just told the cashier that I had a hard time finding what I wanted. I just didn't want anything. ...
