Her dresses are priced extremely high for the quality. The price and quality do not match. I recommend this place if you want to smell worse than a thrift store. I could smell it faintly while I was in the store, but by the time I got it home it smelled 20x's worse than it smelled while in the store. I left said dress out on the line in fresh air for a day and a half. No time for a dry cleaners, and it's a non- machine washable dress. my sister and I had it hung on the line and constantly sprayed with smoked out spray, glade, anything and everything we could find. Regular/ expensive perfumes WOULD NOT have done the trick. It smells absolutely awful. I'm not even sure that dry cleaners could have gotten that smell out., as I used to work for lots of dry cleaning companies and I've never smelled something so bad. I only needed the dress for a couple hours and was desperate to find a dress last minute., As the dress I ordered didn't show up on time. As much as I sprayed on it and kept it on a line, nothing was getting that smell out. So I spent the whole next day going to thrift stores, bridal shops, anywhere and everywhere I could to find a dress that would suit my needs for the day that I needed it. Didn't even get to wear the dress that I paid for at Mindy's because it smelled so bad. Also, once I got it home & could see better in the light I could see that the seams were coming apart at the breast area in the back. Approximately $80 down the drain. As she does no refunds. And now I know why. Unless you want to smell like the worst thrift stores / attic you've ever smelled in your life, I recommend you stay far away...

I was recommended by three friends to use Mindy for alterations of my mother of the bride dress. It was a simple job, take up the shoulders and hem the bottom. I also wanted advice about adding some bling to the lace top and she said it's too time consuming and didn't want to do it. Ok. When I went in to try on the dress after alterations, I noticed a strong musty smell in the place. (I'm not sure I noticed it when I first went there to consult with her.) I tried on the dress and I was wearing the same shoes as before. I stood on the pedestal in front of the mirror. I didn't walk in the dress while I was there. It seemed fine standing still. I don't wear floor length dresses so I didn't know what to look for as far as the length. So when I tried it on at home to show family, I felt I had to lift the dress to walk. I've shared photos with others and they said it should be an inch from the floor. It is not. The hem doesn't seem very well done either. To top it all off, when I tried on the dress it smelled terribly musty! I was horrified. I fortunately have eliminated the odor with fabric spray and some laundry scent booster beads hung inside the garment bag. Bottom line. I unfortunately will not be recommending her services and would be concerned about purchasing a dress from a musty smelling place. Mindy was absolutely phenomenal! I came in hoping to get measured thinking I would need to order a dress online and hope for the best due to the timeframe in which we decided to have our wedding, but when I came in Mindy was so helpful and pulled a few dresses for me to try on even though I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for. One of those dresses happened to be perfect and Mindy was kind enough to add some additional pink beading to the neckline for me to make the flowers stand out just a little more. We went ahead and rented my husband’s suit through her as well and the whole process was easy and pain free.
