I recently ordered from Babai Bandi, and I must say it was one of the worst food truck experiences I've had in a long time. From the service to the food quality and the incredibly long wait times, there was very little to redeem this food truck.
The service was abysmal, to say the least. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, as if they were doing us a favor by taking our orders. We waited for ages just to place our orders, and it only went downhill from there. We had to repeatedly ask for order, and it was evident that the staff had no intention of making our experience enjoyable. It's clear they lack the basic principles of good customer service.
The food was equally disappointing. We were served dishes that were bland and clearly lacking in quality. The presentation was underwhelming (Flat Puri), and the taste did nothing to compensate for it. It felt like the kitchen had no pride in what they were serving, and it showed in every bite. The menu had promised so much, but the reality fell far short of our expectations.
The most infuriating aspect of our visit was the extreme wait times. We waited a staggering 1 hr to 1 .5 hrs for our food to be ready. It was apparent that this delay was due to both slow service and extremely slow cooking. It's hard to fathom how a food truck can operate with such inefficiency. Patrons shouldn't have to endure such excessive waiting times, especially when it comes to a food truck where quick service is expected.
Finally, I must urge potential customers not to trust the glowing 5-star self-reviews this food truck has undoubtedly posted online. After my experience, I have serious doubts about the authenticity of those reviews. It's clear that they are attempting to create a false positive image of their establishment to lure in unsuspecting customers.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against ordering from Babai Bandi. The terrible service, subpar food quality, and interminable wait times make it a dining experience I would not wish on anyone. It's a stark reminder that appearances can be deceiving, and self-generated 5-star reviews should always be taken with a...

Even after all my friends said no, we went to Babai Bandi to try their food. We asked the person at the front desk what was good, and he said the whole menu was a blast. So we ordered $60 worth of food: Babai Idly, Sambar Idly, Punugulu, chicken noodles, samosa, egg bajji masala, crispy corn, and tea.
We started with the tea, which was okay. When the food was served, we got Punugulu and Babai Idly but were told to wait a minute for the Sambar Idly. I stood there waiting while the person at the desk took other orders and did other things. After waiting for 7 minutes and calling him 3-4 times without a response, they finally served us after 10 minutes.
The sambar tasted watered down. The most disappointing parts were the noodles and egg bajji masala. The noodles tasted nothing like noodles; they were filled with masala that tasted like Maggi with too much coriander powder. I told them, and they said they would remake the order. But then one of the cooks came out and said the noodles were fine and they don’t use neither maggi masala nor coriander powder . Even after I explained, he insisted they were his best noodles and he had served 15 orders by then. He also said that it was salted and spiced perfectly. I realized noodles weren't his cup of tea and gave up, but he said he would make another order just for me.
While waiting, we were served egg bajji masala, which was awful; all I could taste was chili powder. This dish is worth considering to be taken off the menu. I didn't talk to anyone about it after seeing how they reacted to the noodles. After waiting another 15-20 minutes, I lost patience and was about to leave handing over the pager, but they handed me the new noodles, which tasted the same (not surprised).
Ambience was great! Service was horrible (would rate 0 if I could) Food was very bad.
They should really teach their employees some basic...
