5th Avenue Designs — Local services in Denver

Absolutely blew every other place we looked at out of the water. We looked extensively online, in local competitors and those mall stores; Fifth Avenue Designs was able to WOW us with their attention to detail, custom design, and willingness to work with us on pricing. They are amazing! We really wanted to keep our business local and have a connection when making such a large, lifetime purchase. We got the engagement and wedding rings here and they were able to design the rings exactly as we wanted. I knew I wanted a mixed metal ring and they were able to blend the look of white gold and rose gold exactly as I imagined it. I was also interested in oval and pear diamonds instead of the more traditional round. They ordered in options that were in our price range so we didn't get distracted by ones we couldn't afford. Plus they helped us get up to speed on the whole industry and standards since this was all new to us. BIG SHOUT OUT for amazing service and attention to detail. Partner and I are shopping around for engagement rings, after checking out a few of the more common name stores (Brilliant Earth, Sarah O, Tiffany, etc) we were recommend Fifth Ave. We called and it was recommended we make an appointment. An appointment was made, after about a week it was time. We showed up a few minutes early and were told "We will be with you in a couple minutes" after mentioning to one gentleman our appointment was in a few minutes. Well our appointment time passes, and we've now had 3 people tell us they will be with us in a "couple minutes". After 25 minutes past our appointment time we decided to leave. Telling us to book an appointment and have us stand around for almost 30 minutes was borderline hilarious, and absolutely disrespectful of our time. I understand others may have had varying experiences, but this needs to be addressed especially with appointments. Walk in would have been a different story

Edit: Busy with walk ins or not, an appointment takes priority. That is the whole point of an appointment. This reminds me of the Seinfeld car...

It’s sad I only got to have this experience once. The staff at Fifth were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. Michelle was stellar. She had no need to play the badgering saleswoman, but rather allowed the process to play out since she was well aware they had what I wanted. The day I entered the store was the same my decision on the ring I was going to propose with was made. This all happened during the holiday rush, so any promises made as to the timing of said ring being created and available were seemingly dubious. Miraculously, the cad drawings and finished product were all done honoring the timeline I was promised, bravo.

The folks at this store are great assets to have if you are looking to make customizations to an existing setting. I had originally purchased a rock online and needed a setting. The setting they created from scratch matched my expectations perfectly, and they even made some last minute changes at my request.
