Just a few days ago I had the most interesting twist to a day where things weren't going so well. Previously to walk into the 7-Eleven on the corner of Josephine and 6th I had lost my wallet after going to work for somebody else on their shift that day and I had lost my wallet at the bar when I was tipping. So let's be said I had also forgot my phone cord for charging it at home and my battery died so I had to walk back. And the walk back from Cherry Creek to Capitol Hill is about 2 miles to get to my place. While walking it was excessively hot that evening and I was dressed totally unprepared for the walk long slags long sleeve black t-shirt underneath also and just all the way cooking. So I had stopped into that 7-Eleven and I had already in my mind set myself to the heartbreaking agony of probably not getting anything to drink until I got home. But I went in and I asked one of the workers if there was any possible way I could get a glass of water. And in Denver a glass of water is like the most amazing item to get either in a store at a restaurant or at even a dear friend's house you will never be served a glass of water. It's definitely not a thing I'm used to being from Detroit area. But amazingly the attendant Amber she said go ahead and help yourself to a glass of ice water and I definitely did she was busy doing the truck but took every moment and every second that she had available to be helpful or regional 7-Eleven in my life. Local or regional 7-Eleven in my life. An amazing employee worth every cent that she's paid and probably I'm telling you this from experience because I've seen employees that are of that caliber deserve even more and hopefully the owner of the store gets the chance to listen to the words that are being dictated by myself through my phone on this day give her a raise she definitely deserves it I've never seen this type of service here and it just adds a great amount of needed courtesy in this industry....

Read moreThis place is the best 7-11 I have ever visited. The owners often ask the regulars what they want to see in the store at the last minute or what would be helpful in a pinch on days like christmas or new years day. The owners and employees are always friendly and helpful and often ask how my kids are and I have enjoyed the times that we have had the short but meaningful human interactions that too often go overlooked or have been completely depersonalized. I really appreciate the people who owned and have worked in this spot. So for being a full time neighborly market I thought I would let you know that this place is a great place to stop whenever you are in the neighborhood. Service is great and store is clean owners are awesome. Thanks for always being there when...
