Sold me fake jewelry! Scammed out of 650 bucks. I came in here to get my jewelry cleaned about a year ago. When they were cleaning my jewelry I was chatting with one gal and the owner. They told me how all of their jewelry is handcrafted and she showed me a piece that I really liked. I wasn’t overly crazy about the chain but I really liked the pendant that was on it. She told me it was solid 24 karat gold. The owner Carol lied to me. Today I was at a different mall and went to Kay jewelers and Helzberg diamonds both associates at each store told me that there was no way that my pendant was solid 24 karat gold because the gold is starting to fade off. Both told me that it was definitely plated jewelry, I was ripped off. I would have been better off buying some thing that I knew was fake from a kiosk instead of buying from element 79. Essentially there’s no difference. This is beyond unethical, and it has ruined me from buying from mom and pop stores. Who would’ve thought you would buy some thing in that wealthy uppity Cherry Creek area and it’s fake. Not only that they knowingly lied to me and ripped me off.
