We were in Denver as we had a layover from Minneapolis. My brother treated for lunch. We ordered a total of four slices of pizza and two diet bottles of pop for $28.00. I tasted a tiny piece of the pizza that was hanging outside of the box. I thought, I'm not sure about this as it didn't taste good. We proceeded to find a seat to eat near our gate. My brother started eating his pizza and I broke off a piece of the crust as I had tasted the cheese and it was not palatable. I was nervous to tell my brother that I couldn't eat this pizza, lol as it was a waste of money. Finally, I said, I can't eat this, it's 😝 gross. He said, I know, as he put his pizza down. He said, I'm just trying to eat the meat. He said eat the Italian sausage. I tried but I couldn't, lol. I ate the crust off and was done. My brother was done too without eating the meat. So basically $28 for two diet pops.
The service and all the staff were wonderful. We were too far from the kitchen to go back and provide feedback. Hey, it's airport food.

Update 3/18/2025 Since I took the time to write a not so great food review, I needed to provide that is was resolved.
Shortly after completing this review, I emailed their office. They were very responsive and issued a refund for the...
Read moreI stopped in really hungry after a long ride to the airport. It was early so we decided to have Villa Italian's breakfast food. I had the breakfast bowl with eggs and sausage. My friends had a few random breakfast pastries from the display cases. My eggs were bland and tasted like processed egg mix from a carton, or maybe soy based eggs. The color of the scrambled eggs was somewhat grayish and gross. The sausage tasted like turkey blended with fine sawdust and a bit of soy, and it was a really mushy texture. Think wet unsalty playdoh. This is not a joke. Food was also lukewarm which added to the nastiness level. Both friends also commented that their breakfast pastries were very dry and lacking much character or flavor, and they both did not eat more than half of their food. It felt like someone took a prison kitchen and transplanted it into DIA along with the prison recipes. Again, no joke and not trying to be funny or insulting to the restaurant but their breakfast offerings are not...
Read moreIt was morning time, so walked around the concourse trying to figure out what to have, specifically hoping for something breakfast pizza, and Villa Italian Kitchen had what I was looking for. I tried the Supreme breakfast Stromboli. It had eggs, Italian sausage (which had great flavor) mushrooms, onions, and likely a couple other ingredients.
Overall the Stromboli was pretty good. I could tell it may have been sitting out for just a bit, and I think she reheated it, but it did hit the spot. Having them already prepared allowed for extremely fast service, which one can appreciate at the airport.
Definitely worth a try, and would eat again. Pricing was in the $8 range, but I felt that it was more than enough food for the price. Only downside is that I would have liked to see them serve a coffee option since serving breakfast, so customers do not have to...
