Worst food and overall experience at an airport eatery that I can remember ever having. SERVICE: Our server was trying gallantly--but the place was obviously understaffed. We were sitting next to the server stand and several people had to come up--disgruntled--to ask to pay their bill or they were going to miss their flight. Giving the benefit of the doubt, perhaps the understaffing was an unexpected situation that couldn't be helped. However... FOOD: My husband and I ordered fish & chips, a side salad, a classic margarita, and a beer. The fish seemed to be a pre-fabricated, frozen product. The batter on the fish was horrible--spongy and odd tasting. I couldn't eat it. Hands down, the worst battered fish I have ever had. Fries were just ok--again tasted like a packaged, pre-fabricated food product. The margarita was too sweet. The side salad was standard and just ok. The only good item was the beer, which was a lager on tap. SET UP: When you sit down, there is a QR code on the table that you are supposed to scan to pull up the menu, place your order, and pay. The QR code only brought up a page with an error message. When I asked the hostess about it--without any graciousness at all--she informed me that our sever had to reset it for us. Since they were understaffed, it was a while before our server came to our table so we could ask her to reset it. The app worked for a moment, then crashed. It was quite a long while until our server made it back to us for us to inform her we still couldn't order as we were still unable to access the menu. She said she would get us a paper menu. Quite a while later, after she had come back once without a menu, we finally got a paper menu, but it had all the prices blacked out. Probably because... PRICES: Extremely high--verging on outrageous--for poor quality food. INSULT TO INJURY: At the end of this dissatisfying experience, we were overcharged for the beer. It would have taken too long to try to have our server correct the bill and we needed to catch our flight. So we just let it go. LESSON LEARNED: This is probably an okay place if you have time to kill before your flight and just want a beer. I do not recommend ...

Read moreI walked up with my family of 6 (4 kids and 2 adults) and they told us the wait was 30 minutes. We had enough time for a 30 min wait and then time to eat, so I put our name on the list.
We come back in 30 minutes and she calls me up. She says “The thing is, we’re not going to be able to seat the 6 of you together. I have to split you between 2 servers.” The frustrating part is that I’m literally looking at a whole section that has other people sitting in it that has open tables that can seat my entire family - several tables actually.
At this point, I’ve waited 30 minutes and - since I’m obviously in an airport and on a time crunch awaiting my flight, needing to feed my kids dinner before next flight - I tell her “That’s fine, but are they close together?”
After following her to a high top table near the bar, where I guess I was going to seat a few of my kids, I asked if I could also have the open 2 - seater high top right next to it. She said “no, that’s not how the sections are divided”.
At this point, I’m done. You’re an airport restaurant. You’re not a fine dining establishment. If you were going to have issues seating my family, you should’ve told me that 30 MINUTES AGO so that I could feed my family elsewhere and not rush to my flight. She...
