I was on a damn mission to find another house plant, because why not? Hobbies are hobbies. Sue me. (Please do not. Not cool. Chill out.) Lunchboxx was my meal of choice (Top-notch-schtuff), so I stopped at Denver Central Market to pick up my food. I’m a loyalist for another botanical shop, but, when parking, I saw Recital with it’s plant-lined storefront… The chlorophyll gods were calling my name. I hadn’t heard/read/seen anything about the place before. Upon walking inside and doing 4 to 7 seconds of reconnaissance, I caved and admitted my insecurities when it came to not having a proverbial green thumb. I was immediately greeted with helpful suggestions, tips, hints, and genuine interest in the hobby. The two people steering the helm (apologies for not knowing names) obviously knew what they were talking about, and they were both actively listening to how genuinely f**ked I was at taking care of plants. We all joked about over-misting our chartreuse-shaded, inanimate dirt children. ANYSPRAY, long-story-long, just go to Recital. Just go. Thoughtful people. Buyable things. Warm atmosphere. Extremely deficient in bad vibes.

So cute. Such fun items. Lots of great little gifts. Tons of plants that are obviously well cared for. I'll definitely be back.

I buy ALL gifts here! This is my favorite store in Denver. It's a spot that really relies on word of mouth. Each piece is lovingly curated to bring a special story to you. Even if you don't buy anything it's so wonderful to see a different point of view in the city. One that doesn't take itself too seriously, but offers amazing jewelry, clothing, vintage pieces, and a serious knowledge. Their sister store offers an array of healthy plants, books, scents, home decor and lots of perfect little gifts. Feel good about spending your...

Beautiful space! Amazing merchandise & friendly staff! I bought 2 undies sets and a cactus, it felt so luxurious to go in and try things on in their beautiful dressing room. This store is a destination for sure in this cute little Tokyo-like ally way. Definitely going to be come a...
