Snipes
Iām a new customer and recently brought a pair of sneakers online. When I received my order, I found the colors and condition were not quite to my liking. I remembered there was a Snipes location about 30 minutes away as I live in a rural area. I checked online, and it confirmed you may return any unused item within 30 days for any reason at any store. I made my way to the store and was instantly greeted by 3 young ladies. I shared I was looking to make a return and showed them the brand of sneaker. They made suggestions, asking if I wanted to exchange them or return items for store credit. Then one of the 3 young ladies claimed she was the manager. Iām assuming assistant manager as later I would find myself speaking with the store manager. However, she stated they were not able to assist me with my return as the product was not sold there as they were not licensed at that location. I found that this was far-fetched, so I asked for someone above her as that could not be true or maybe there was a misunderstanding. She then directed me to the back of the store near the register. I walked to where I was greeted by a young man who claimed to be the store manager. I explained the situation and pointed out even on the packing slip that he referenced that I could make a return at any store, but he was obstinate and was still working on other projects at the same time as I did not have his undivided attention. He continued to refuse to accept my return and instead of continuing on, I shared I would contact corporate to settle the issue. When I requested his name, he declined to give it to me and said āhe was not allowed toā. That seems very unbecoming of a store manager. As a consumer who is very much involved in fashion and a sneakerhead, this was an experience that may surely deter me away from becoming a regular patron. I was highly upset at the way I was treated and feel there was no honesty or integrity when it came to meeting my needs as a customer. I should be able to be treated just as if I was an in-store buyer as I could have potentially been a long-time buyer. This is the new age where most consumers do online shopping, and when there is not a streamlined way to make a return or exchange, whether online or in-store, it can turn others away from also being long-time customers. It was overall a bad experience in-store and I feel unprofessional. I feel as if the refused my return because they did want to take a negative hit on item they did not sell out of store as I used to be in retail and that is one thing management hated but we still would take the return in a way to foster good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst things first. Kicks will have the newest heat in sneakers and clothes of the same brand. Need that new Jordan and the new shorts and tshirt that matches? How about the new Nike Joggers and matching hoodie? You got it, just go to Kicks. Honestly I started shopping here online. The first thing that drew me in was I could order shoes and get free shipping with it arriving in just a day or two. I mean some new drip sent for free to my door really fast is super cool. My problem really was that I love YouTube. With that in mind I love making content. I can't help but talk about shoes and clothes. When I thought about it, I could go to Kicks and see the stuff. If they didn't have what I wanted in store they would ship it to me for free. The store takes any coupons they would online. So why wouldn't I visit the store? That I did and brought my camera along. The employees were so freaking nice. Ready to help and willing to assist in getting your stuff rang out and get you out of there with some new kicks from Kicks. You would think they paid me to write this but they didn't. (You guys can though. Don't shy. Check out my YouTube channel. I have PayPal, super chat, and streamlabs haha.) I am able to go there and video tape my little heart out. That is as good as it gets and plenty worth a few of my minutes here. At the very least check their we page. If you stop by the store you won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never seen this store before and was excited to check out being though I live in Philly. I spent 15min in the store and no one greeted me. I asked for the last small that was on the mannequin & this youngan that was helping orginally helping prior guests (no fault) came over to assist. I asked him would there be a store discount for the item being touched on display. He then asked, Jaz the store manager, and she was immediately rude, walking away without engaging in a professional explanation. The other young never said a word, hi, hello nothing. Even on the way out the door. I walked right by her, and didn't get a thank you come again or anything.
I am a 5 star rated business owner with over 200!! 5 star reviews & yet I understand they only "WORK" there, they can still be courtesy and polite. No is no, but the way Jaz went about it was not how a manager should handle paying customers. I still bought the hoodie @ $55 but I mention to the gentlemen that "Your suppose to be happy while making a purchase." He agreed apologized for them and handed me my respectfully with two hands. If anything HE should be the manager. Jaz needs a write up and I would like to be compensated for this ill 2 star experience. I will gladly remove the review of the situation is handled properly.
Thank you. Business owner to...
