With the prices of groceries today I know many people are going to several different stores to get the BEST PRICES on their necessities!! I much rather go to one store, to grab everything on my list. The brands are great & they have an awesome selection. You save hundreds a month!! You need to bring a quarter to use a cart but you get it back upon returning the cart. Also, you need to bag your own groceries & bring shopping bags (unless you want to buy their paper or plastic ones for sale), which add up fast with a standard shopping order. I'd rather bring cloth bags anyway. Oh, they have reusable cloth bags for sale there, too! This IS MY go-to store! It's how I cook well-rounded healthy dinners & pack lunches & snacks for my kids. Or I wouldn't make it through the month financially otherwise as a single parent. The prices here are so much lower; if you haven't tried Aldis before, give it a shot!!! (It can't hurt to ask what day your local store typically stocks produce & gets new shipments in). I love going when the best stuff is there first. They have a couple of specific brands I've fallen for & won't go without. You won't regret going if it's new to you. Get out of your comfort zone & try it. I put my kid's snacks in ziplock baggies so nobody knows if they aren't eating the name-brand of a snack. They still enjoy the snack, it usually tastes identically the same! Or close to it. I PROMISE...... if you compare grocery orders, you will get at least double the food or more, for half the money you would usually spend shopping elsewhere. Keep it up, Aldis!! & YES, they pretty much have everything other grocery stores have & unique items as well. Certain things do change seasonally, I feel, as well. Shop in good health &...
Read moreIt’s a two star because I have always come here but the service in recent months near us has gone down hill. Me and my husband are standing patiently waiting in line among other people. There are three lines open lane 2 had a women with a lot of items and a women loading behind, line 4 similar and 6 had the most amount of customers. Our cashier Kristin in lane 4 has horrible manners and kept yelling out someone can go to lane 2, lane 2 is open. The cashier Kristin called this three separate times not even within three minutes. Now as a customer I almost felt bullied to get out of my spot to go wait in another lane that was not even empty. I understand the frustration with customer service as I have done similar jobs and am a nurse currently, I cannot out of frustration get aggravated and start yelling on a unit as a frustrated nurse, why should anyone working be able to act like this. The women, Kristin seemed to know he wrongs and did apologize to the customers in front of us stating that she needs coffee, when myself and husband approached we didn’t receive an apology but she did compliment an item of mine and tried to be nice, personally I don’t care how nice you are if your cannot act...
Read more0 Stars! This was the worst experience at an aldi's I've ever had by far! I am an avid aldi supporter, but after today I will never return to this location. I was having an issue with my card and had to call my bank. While waiting on hold for about 15 mins. I handed the cashier my card and let her know i was going to begin bagging my things while I waited on the phone. She politely said that's fine. After i badged my groceries I said I needed to use the restroom. And jokingly fair guard that card with your life and laughed. A moment later another employee barged into the bathroom screaming at top of her lungs that I needed to come out and take my card immediately. As i was already in the stall sittinf down . I tried to explain why I had left it with her. She wanted no explanation and contined to yell that i can't do that and slammed the door while i was talking. Long story short an employee should never corner a customer in a bathroom and scream at them. Especially when I had not done anything to warrant the behavior. Terrible...
