Unbelievably bad service. Unsafe food.
I waited for 30 minutes before getting the appetizer, which other locations manage in 5-8 minutes and 13 when they are understandably busy (Fri/Sat dinner hour).
While watching others seated fed and ready to pay their bill. I was still waiting for an ordered appetizer and a check in from the "waitress".
I was then served an undercooked Onion Bloom, followed by the weak explaination of "Someone took the order". Which doesn't happen IF your server pays a touch of attention.
No one took it: she was too lazy and poorly organized and the cook staff rightfully pulled it off the service as it was unservable after it sat so long.
After about 35 minutes from being seated (for lunch) walking in at about 2 pm. We get our salads. My lettuce was warm as was the plate.
I let my friends daughter try the salad, and she said... "This is gross".
The croutons on my Cesar salad were actually soggy from the dressing, and the plate was warm to the touch which tells me it sat for quite a time. I was, served a salad that was likely made hours if not days prior. The shredded cheese was also discolored from sitting in liquid.
Finally, after about 40 minutes "lunch" was delivered. My friend and her daughter got their order, cooked quite nicely and within their request. Oh wait... No. That's not what happened...
My friends daughters order was fine. But my friends order was a 6oz piece of meat on an otherwise empty plate, no sides (cheese steak fries were ordered as well as the house salad which fine). You would think 🤔 that would cause a concern with your waitress... You would be wrong.
So, my friend informed the food delivery person that she was missing cheese fries, and then they brought out the MOST burnt cheese fries I have EVER seen a few minutes later. You would HAVE to use a blow torch to burn them that bad. When you peeled the melted layer of cheese off. There was unmelted shreeded cheese underneath. The replacement fries, non-cheese fries were also undercooked. Finally they delivered a somewhat acceptable side of cheese fries which we told them not to do. But, she had finished her lunch... So they went to waste.
I order my steak medium at TRH, the reason is they ALWAYS undercook, so Medium is ALWAYS medium rare (like steak should be eaten). But on the 2 occasions they have actually cooked it to medium, it's still quite edible and delicious.
That is NOT even close to what I got.
I got a steak which I in all honestly would NOT feed to my dogs. I realize people say that food is not fit for a dog, but in this case it was entirely accurate. I would not feed that piece of meat to my dogs for fear of their safety. It was INCREDIBLELY overcooked, infact the "8oz" steak took up less room on the plate then a 1/4 pounder burger from McDonald's.
It was cold to the touch, the plate was cold, the shrimp side was also cold and it did not have the side of melted butter on the plate. In other words, I suspect quite rightfully that I was being fed waste food. As, the butter they brought me was warmer then the "food" on my plate.
At this point there was a young gentleman monitoring our meal and when he saw the shoe leather purportedly to be meat, he also agreed it was inedible. He then rightfully went to get me an edible piece of steak which would take another 8 minutes which I decided to wait for... Despite my better angels telling me to walk out.
I was delivered a steak that was mostly properly cooked on the outside, but straight up cold as a fridge on the inside.
Thankfully the young man zeroed out the charge for my 'dinner'. But I ended up paying for 44.00 of 2 meals incorrectly delivered with food safety issues, and not getting my own lunch.
After an hour of sitting in that squaller of incompetent, I ended up not eating.
Don't eat here.
Unless they fix their act. Don't eat at this TRH. Utica or Albany are FAR better locations, they care about...
Read moreMy husband and I frequent Texas Roadhouse often, normally we love it. But over the last few months the service has been going down hill, but tonight was the worst experience I’ve had in any Restaurant let alone Texas roadhouse. We knew the wait list would be long so we added ourselves online to the waitlist because we were taking my mother in law and his sister with us to have a family dinner for my daughters birthday . So we get there, sitting in the car waiting our turn. They send a text when your table is ready. So I get a text that our table is ready so I unload my two toddler children age 1 and 2.5 and we are about to go in. Get a phone call that the text was sent by mistake it is going to be another 10-15 mins ... fine we get back in and wait. So we get seated around 7:32 first we asked for menus 10 mins just to receive those. Thank god we ordered apps with drinks because we didn’t get to order our food until 8:00 so mind u we were there sitting at a table with two babies 30 mins already. We are started to get frustrated because there was no sorry or we are running behind, no refills nothing so my husband is mad at this point. ( I’m am not blaming the waitress she was fine and very overwhelmed with no help keeping her tables up) So the waitress knew something was wrong because we got our food at 9:10 they closed at 9:00. So she sent the manager (Maddie) and i kid you not the attitude this adult woman had was sickening. She did not try to apologize she was trying to say we haven’t been waiting that long and argue with us. My 1 year old ate dinner 1 hour and 40 mins after we arrived. I was embarrassed for the company to have her as there representative. Maybe she was upset because multiple tables In the area we sat Were in the same situation and not happy either. Horrible Manager! Then the food was burnt, over cooked, missing sides. Like they ran out of rice and brought a single steak on a plate and handed to my husband and said yea we are out of rice. Like what he sent it back and didn’t eat at all. Single steak no sides expected to wait god knows how long for a new side to be made... my mother in laws chicken was burnt she sent in back didn’t eat as well. Then the manger was like well i took those meals off. They didn’t take them of to rectify they took them off they they refused to eat that garbage. I was hoping to get dessert to celebrate but honestly I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Worst Experience ever. Ive had issues in the past due to human error and the other manager (the man) was always so pleasant and ready to fix the situation or at least apologize! This Mandy 100 percent escalated the situation And was very disrespectful. My husband and I eat here a lot, mostly take out because dine in experience as dropped greatly, but after tonight that...
Read moreGood news and bad news. The good news is the food is really really good especially for how busy it was. The waitress Kayla was very busy but did a really good job again especially with it being so busy. We had six adults in a newly adapted baby and were celebrating the baby’s adoption. The manager stroll around like a conquering hero, but who or what did she really conquer? She came to her table with a big fake smile asking if there’s anything she could do. And I said yes actually our friends are taking us to dinner for the newly adopted baby and they have a coupon but it expired a few weeks ago. The thing as we planned on going a few weeks ago with the snow and ice kept us from coming. I myself wasn’t paying because we were being treated out. It would be inappropriate for me to ask to help. The manager said there’s nothing she could do because it expired a few weeks ago. I explained the situation that we plan on coming with our party, but due to the ice storm, it kept us away to reschedule. As these people don’t have a lot, you could make a little exception after all you just offered if there’s anything you can do. Again sorry nothing we can do. Is Texas roadhouse hurting? There was not one spot in the parking lot and there was a nice long waitlist. thousands and thousands of dollars we’re gonna be spent there and we alone we’re gonna spend hundreds and hundreds. If she really wanted to do something nice and help out and just honor the coupon she could’ve done it. After all, she said she was the woman in charge. Again, she trolled around like she had authority, but was powerless and without compassion. Even when we mention the adoption, it went right over her head. No congratulations. No how sweet. Nothing but a robot. Don’t want to mention no names, but Shannon, the manager walked around just to justify the extra zero in her paycheck. I give her service in her managerial skills at zero. That’s why I eat at home. First of all it’s overpriced and I’m a much much better cook than they can be there. With all the restaurants going out of business right now You think your customer service would be a little bit better especially when you’re making Mucho bucks. Shame on you, Shannon. I was really embarrassed for you in front of the people I was with. I don’t know what it’s like to be mean or greedy because I am the opposite. I am a giver. I am also old school over the customer is always right. Were you spending a few hundred dollars? You could’ve at least honored their little coupon. Definitely will not return. At least not to the one in...
