Calvin Calvin Calvin he is wonderful. I can’t say enough about this gentleman. I would’ve given him a review a long time ago had I known his name I don’t know why I continually call him Marcus. I think he looks like an old friend of mine from a very long time ago Whose name was indeed Marcus, this young gentleman it does not matter if there’s 400 people in that line and honking horns at him or 1,000,000° out he consistently treats customers with respect, patience, compassion, and he’s extremely thoughtful. He takes it upon himself to try to remember every customer‘s name he continually greets me by name. It does start with a K and he’s pretty close which meant everything to me. It’s not exactly the right name but that’s OK. He tried and that’s all that matters and it does start with a K so he was on point, which showed me that he cared I don’t know who raised him and I don’t even know if he’ll ever see this message but if anybody does, I would hope you show this to Him And I would hope that if you do see this Calvin, you tell your mama she did a good job or your dad or your grandma or whoever whoever brought you up to be the young gentleman that you are should be very proud I hope you have great things in life. I feel like your future is going to be outstanding. Just keep staying the unbiased kind hearted compassionate excellent at your job he knows that menu back forth inside and out. It doesn’t matter what is on that menu a new item and old item. Whatever question I ask he always has the answer. Good job, buddy. It’s a pleasure to know you until the next time I make it up that way for another chicken sandwich or salad a quick shout out to the management and the rest of the staff as well. Your store is impeccable. Your staff is second to none I go to McDonald’s sometimes myself customers around me are almost in fistfight especially the one on O’Neill Highway I couldn’t believe some of the behavior I’ve seen there. You guys are just a whole different experience. I don’t know what you do differently and I’ve said it before, but all these other drive-through would do good by learning from your example. God bless all of you and keep doing what you’re doing Chick-fil-A. You’re employing the right types of people and they’re setting in good standards for your company Calvin your numero Uno for me every time I decide to go there. I hope I get the pleasure of bumping into you. I have three young men myself and I pray that they turn out to be half as respectful, courteous, considerate, thoughtful, and take their job as serious as you do. You’re gonna do good in...
Read moreAlways a fantastic chicken sandwich. Always made to order specifications. Always wonderful.
My one issue is that I love chicken soup, but according to the local menu, MSG is added. I think ChikFilA could make that one improvement. My food always arrives hot and wonderful.
Update:
I’ve attached photos. My sandwich was fine, but while I was delivered 2, fully sealed bags; my chicken noodle soup was (for the second delivery), served at best 1/2-3/4 full (despite having a secured, domed disposable top). And an order of large waffle fries that was the equivalent of a small order. The photos speak for themselves.
My sandwich was perfect.
Update: While the MSG is still listed on their website’s local menu, the serving size has been improved to an actual full bowl of soup and a full serving of their outstanding waffle fries. The chicken sandwich, I personally find is best without the pickles but with bacon, lettuce and tomato added. All my orders are delivered and my local ChikFilA throughly secures the bags with seals and are always piping hot.
Clearly, someone is reading my reviews (sans the MSG in the soup…I’m bound and determined to rid of this ingredient because I love good soup all year, and your chicken soup is delicious) and I appreciate the fact that someone cares.
Update:
Overall, this might be my last order. No condiments were included as ordered, and the safety seals were broken open upon delivery. The game needs to at least be stepped up a bit. I enjoy your food, but if someone can't manage to put ketchup and honey packets in my inedible order, it forces me to wonder whom is responsible for washing and ensuring the vegetables in my order are cleaned and sanitized before they are bagged up for delivery. MSG still in the chicken Chicken Noodle Soup. I don't understand how a company which portrays themselves as wholesome uses this dangerous ingredient in such a wholesome dish. The Dasher delivered bags with the security seals and bags ripped open, I immediately contacted DoorDash and received a $10 credit; I wanted a quiet dinner at home, not a proverbial fruit basket. The Dasher's of late are either fantastic or terribl or horrendous; tonight's experience was by far the worst from Chik Fil A to...
Read moreI really hate giving 1-star reviews - if you look at my past reviews of places - it's extremely rare. When I do leave a poor review - it's because I sincerely feel as though it's warranted. As is the case here.
Figured I’d let a few weeks go by and let the hype die down a bit before I tried our local Chick-fil-A and it was a letdown of epic proportions.
Went on a Monday - about 4:50 PM - line of vehicles in the drive thru was just about to the entrance off the main road that goes back to Kohls. Based on similar experience at other franchise locations - a long line isn’t necessarily something to be concerned about as they’ve always impressed us with their ability to manage a large flow of customers quickly.
Definitely NOT the case here.
It was 2 hours and 30 mins. until we PLACED our order at the drive thru order screen. For real. We started a timer when we arrived. Then another 15 minutes from the order screen to the door. The particular set up of the drive thru kind of locks you in once you are there. There's only a few chances to bail before you can't anymore. And even if you do decide to bail - they obviously don't want you to by blocking your exit points with cones and signs (which you can move, physically, if you were so inclined). To top off this less than stellar experience - they completely forgot about a meal we ordered (which they REPEATED for verification at the order window). Upon checking bags - it wasn't there. So then I parked and went in (as to not shaft everybody else behind us in the drive thru that have also waited FOREVER) and I was just placed in line with everybody else after explaining that I had a drive thru order that was not included in our VERIFIED order. No apologies. No anything.
All told it was 3 hours and 10 minutes. Absolutely pathetic.
Won’t be going back. Ever.
Understaffed? Mismanaged? Not sure. But what I can tell you, it won’t last long unless major changes are made. I know it's a tough time for employers to find workers but if you can't find enough help - changes...
