America’s Tire — Local services in Dickson City

I am leaving a one-star review due to the poor service I received at this location. I purchased six tires for my dually truck, and while the online ordering and appointment scheduling process were straightforward, the issues began after the installation was completed. The time it took to change the tires was in line with industry standards, but problems arose once the work was finished. My truck has air pressure sensors, which were reset to zero during the tire installation. I was advised to drive the truck so the sensors could register the pressure. After driving home, approximately 20 miles, I checked the sensors and found that no readings had registered. When I called the store, they insisted that the sensors should have registered and argued with me. They told me if I returned the truck, they would connect it to a computer and reset the sensors. However, I didn’t have the extra time in my day to drive back, so my nephew, who has the required equipment, came by and reset the sensors for me. During this process, I noticed two additional issues. First, one of the rear inside tires was 10 psi underinflated. When I attempted to correct this, I discovered that the outer rim had not been installed correctly. The truck rim has a hole that must align with the valve stems for proper positioning, but this was not followed. I had to remove the tire and fix the issue myself. This is the level of service I received after spending over $1,750 on tires, and I am extremely dissatisfied with...

I found Myself in an unfortunate situation. My Girlfriend's sister had a doughnut on her car which had popped. Her full size wheel had a tire that had cord showing. She was stranded in a parking lot For 5 hours. I had a used tire that I wanted mounted on the wheel. I took it to Firestone and they got my hopes up just to shatter the reality that they will not do it. Mavis, also was happy to decline assisting me in this endeavor. I gave America's tire a call and they were happy to help. They welcomed me with open arms and bright smiles. It was the last hour of the day and they had no fear to help me. I spoke with Jason who was just an amazing man. I told him about my plight to which he happily agreed to mout and Balance the tire for me. As his technicians began work, they did realize that there was a patch on the tire, That I wanted installed. Due to their high regard for customer safety , they were not able to install this tire as it was considered an improper repair. They couldn't leave me stranded though and they had to help. They asked what vehicle the tire was off of and I told them and they found a good quality used tire in their inventory that they gave me at no cost. I simply Paid to have it put on to the wheel. They knew I was in need and could not decline helping me when they had the means and they were happy to do it. And were swift about it as well... I can't thank them enough and highly recommend these amazing people for all your tire needs....

My sister had a fantastic experience at America’s Tire! She mentioned that when she arrived, Davin warmly greeted her and chatted with her about the upcoming tire installation. He explained everything clearly, and the estimated waiting time was only 25 minutes. Davin personally drove my sister’s car to the service bay, where a team of young professionals showcased their strong work ethic and focus.

The crew handled the old tires with care, and Davin went above and beyond by helpingmy sister to select two old tires in good condition to keep as spares. The entire installation was incredibly fast, and they even packed the two old tires carefully in the trunk. Since my sister kept two of the old tires, America’s Tire refunded her $6 plus tax for the two she didn’t dispose of—such an honest and thoughtful gesture!

This isn’t her first positive experience with America’s Tire. She’ve brought other family members’ vehicles here for services, and each visit has been outstanding. She’ve noticed that their team holds meetings before the store opens to ensure everyone is aligned and ready to deliver great customer service. It’s clear they are united in their mission to achieve customer satisfaction.
