Although I have never been to this shop and haven't even set foot in Kansas in 40 years, I cannot speak about the physical shop. But let me tell you, if it's anything like their online service, it is exceptional!!
While scouring the internet for a specific item, I sent email to a few shops, only to learn they were sold out and/or the item was no longer available from their distributor. As it was nearing Christmas vacation, I had no time to pursue it further.
After Christmas, it was still listed on the website. I added the items to my cart (I mean you can't only buy the ONE thing you were looking for, right?) and hit that "proceed to checkout" button. Quick and easy and I'd have my order soon. Except the order process didn't work for shipping. And I was sick, literally.
I may have emailed and then sent a message via Facebook either New Year's Eve or Day expecting it'd be "next week" before I heard anything. To my surprise, I received a reply a short time later! Yes, she's sure they have it in stock, will check and let me know.
Just a few days later, my order was on its way. A bonus is part of my order was a gift and this shop graciously took care of shipping that part directly to the recipient!
The items were well packed, shipped quickly, but that communication was above and beyond. I have no idea if or when I might be in Kansas, specifically Dodge City but if you plan to go, this is a must-stop shop for your itinerary! If every business had such customer service, they'd all be a success. My only regret is there aren't more stars to check because this is...
Read moreThis is a wonderful quilt shop. I went to a quilt guild meeting here with my aunt. They are very generous and love to share both food and crafts. The community and speakers are humorous and nice to be around. The Quilt Shop itself is full of different types of fabric, books, patterns, and panels. There's also different sewing machines you can buy or other equipment you might use for your quilting expertise. There's a small room designated for wool-enthusiasts, who enjoy sewing with wool, embroider with wool, or what-have-you. I'm a hand sewer, applique-interested, and needleworker. I found that this store does not cater to such interests. So if you're a quilter, this is the place for you! If you're a hand-stitcher or needleworker like me, keep...
