I recently dined at El Rodeo Bar & Grill, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The rustic, western-inspired dĂŠcor and lively energy of the place set the stage for a memorable meal.

The food at El Rodeo is absolutely delicious. I started with the queso dip, which was creamy, cheesy, and perfectly spiced—an amazing appetizer to kick things off. For the main course, I tried the steak fajitas, and they were out of this world. The steak was perfectly grilled and seasoned, tender and juicy, served sizzling hot with fresh peppers and onions. The tortillas were soft and warm, and all the sides, like the guacamole and sour cream, were made fresh.

What really sets El Rodeo apart is the fantastic drinks menu. I had one of their signature margaritas, and it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet—definitely a highlight of the meal.

The service was impeccable. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The timing of the food was perfect, and the staff made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Overall, El Rodeo Bar & Grill offers a great mix of fantastic food, great drinks, and top-notch service. Whether you're craving fajitas, tacos, or a refreshing margarita, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be returning for another...

Let's talk about a real family owned business that is as good as it gets. This without question best authentic Mexican food that I have ever had. Im saying THE BEST. Not one of the best, not in my top 5. NO. I truly mean the list starts here and ends here. Great service as well. Was greeted right as I entered and sat at the bar. Waitress was great and answered a few questions I had about menu.. Another waiter brought food out on 2 huge platters.. He was very nice as well and thanked me fir coming in.. Few minutes into the meal I actually flagged him down and told him how Great the food was and how impressed I was.. I chose the Rodeo Platter and it was truly the best meal I can remember having ever.. The platter came with chicken quesadilla and 2 beef tacos.. They have a few tv's which is a nice touch. Great atmosphere as well. I will make a huge effort to go out of my way to come to Dodge City and El Rodeo bar and grill will be my first stop... I assure you that you will not be...

Food was above average but the service was El Rodeo"s downfall. When someone is a host, server, cook(made our sopipillas) then cashier its obviously not conducive to providing good service. I'm always leery of someone who does not write down your order and tries to remember it and sure enough she forgot to bring sugar after being asked while taking the order. Asked her on two occasions for the check which never came so we ended up checking out at the register and being given our ticket but that is all she had to say is "you will get it at the register". Then comes the fact that someone handling money at the cash register then running around making sopipillas and all that other stuff is not very sanitary.. If This Server would have had an attitude that matched her marginally good looks she could make a fortune in tips but with that personality she's probably losing out on a...

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while traveling through. This is a family owned, local and authentic Mexican restaurant. Everyone was friendly and having fun working here. When a table cleared, several people immediately jumped to action to clean and clear the table. We started with chips and salsa and queso. The queso was white cheese and very good, I didn't care much for the salsa. I order 3 enchiladas and each with a different sauce, red, green and cheese. They were excellent, the beans and rice were not my favorite but my wife (who is Mexican decent) said they were authentic. My wife had Chili Verde and the meat was incredibly tender and the dish was excellent. The service and Margarita's were great as well.

We came for an early dinner and noticed few people there. There were two women at the bar, servers? who spent quite a while gossiping with each other before they came to take our order. Meanwhile, two used customer glasses sat a ways down the bar, unbussed. They looked bothered to serve us but eventually brought a tostada salad and the fixings for shrimp fajitas. Both were passable. It was a drizzly night, so that might explain the low attendance. There are interesting murals on the walls and fairly loud music playing. Friendly? No. Welcoming? No.

Wait staff was quick and polite, menu was large and varied, and the food was good. Tender tamales with great red sauce, and the meat (beef and chicken) in the enchiladas was tender and flavorful with a green chile marinade. Beans were pretty runny and bland, but rice was very good. Very watery salsa, but good fresh chips. Horchata was excellent, although it was served in a mug with a large chip out of it. Bathroom was dark and dirty with no soap, but the dining area was clean and well-kept. I’d come back again.
