Dodge City Historic Trolley Tours — Attraction in Dodge City

Very small town with not a lot to do so I was looking forward to this one- unfortunately the last one leaves at 3pm and as a remote worker I couldn't get there on time. On the positive and how I am able to rate it is that there is a "drive yourself tour" you can load on your phone and listen to through your car speakers - the young lady there was very helpful with that and even gave me a guide and some tips so I could go take my own version. The only negative about that is if you are solo which I was -- it's a little hard to navigate and pay attention to everything that is going on and do it at the same time as the recording. It is manageable with patience though :)...

It's not a trolley. It looks nothing like the picture. It's a city transit like bus. With a recording played over the bus speakers. The driver pulled past every stop so half of us never got to look at the things that were being shown, and when the driver did talk he just resaid what the recording had said like it was his own idea. Good for being shown where to go your self later but as a trolley experience or an informational tour...

This trolley takes you around the area as an audio track gives information. The driver was great and he added more info about the area, plus he stopped and let us get pictures out the door at several spots. They go to the feed lots, which are smelly but crazy to see. The tour also includes Ft. Dodge and Boot Hill. You can’t get off the trolley anywhere, but it is a great way to learn about the area before...
