There are times in life for whatever reason we mess things up.my saving grace was Tesla In Doral Florida. To be more precise I should state my super hero’s were two Tesla Employees by the names of Shelby Reeves and Octavio Cordoba. From the first moment I stepped inside the Tesla showroom in Doral Florida I new that my situation would be resolved when Shelby Reeves looked up from her desk, with a big smile and warm eyes and said welcome, can I be of help to you. I explained that while ordering a Tesla model 3, I got distracted and hit the wrong button and didn’t get the $7500 tax credit, and didn’t know how fix the issue. While helping me fix my order issues, we also discovered that I made other mistakes. Octavio Cordoba came over helping to resolve the mistakes that I made, getting me over the finish line. I would like to thank Tesla for hiring these two kind, patient and knowledgeable people. From the moment I walked into Tesla showroom at their Doral location, I felt welcomed. Last week I spoke with Octavio and he gave me an app saying to pick up the car today, Sunday at 12:30pm and return it on Tuesday morning. 5 minutes ago, or 12:20 pm, a guy named Roberto called me, very unprofessional, the approval is at 5 pm today if you want and you return it tomorrow morning, I told him but that was not what he kept with me, he said very contemptuously, that is what it is, leave it or take it. It is clear that he is not the owner of Tesla, I will make sure that this reaches another level because there was a girl who was involved waiting for this moment. The team was unresponsive and unprofessional. I reached out multiple times and they didn’t even bother replying to my texts. Instead of transparency, I got vague replies, pressure to move forward, and no way to escalate to a manager. I was even told there was no way to speak with one.
It wasn’t until I drove to the Miami Gardens branch that I finally got clear answers in just minutes. That team treated me with honesty and respect—the exact opposite of what I experienced in Doral.
